1 ★Hard to rate the app... The drone lasted less than a day and never wouldfly properly. Couldn't adjust trim and it just flew off in a randomdirection every time it started. The next time I tried it, the app won'teven connect to the dinner, though the phone still connected to the adhocAP. I didn't expect much for $20, but wow, it's bad. Better off using thatmoney playing 3 card Monty with a hustler.

4 ★This app saved the Mota Jetjat Ultra for me. The app supplied by Mota crashed on launch and asked ridiculous permissions. This app works well and the permissions requested match the function of the app. Software control and video responses are a little laggy, but I'm running on a junky old tablet, so YMMV. Bravo Tencent, you have a new fan! In order to use this app for video but keep the physical joystick controller, I tapped the "Off" button at the top of the screen (hiding the controls) and used the right toggle switch on the physical controller to do an automatic launch. I was then able to use the physical controller with the app as video monitor. For some reason, the video didn't record, but I ran out of battery before I could troubleshoot that.

4 ★Controls are not as responsive as the physical controller, but I don't feel like this surprises me very much. The main thing is that the app controls *WORK*, unlike both apps currently available from the product vendor Mota. Hilariously however, you will be unable to use the physical controller while using this app, so you'll want to keep the other one around for that! As soon as this app loads the physical controller goes dead, and when you close the app suddenly the controller starts working again. All of this might be a problem with the drone's firmware, which might explain Mota's lack of response, since there would be no easy fix in that case.
