2 ★Good selection but ad functionality is awful. If you try to rewind and go past a spot where there was an ad, it will glitch and then show you another 60 seconds of ads you just watched. If you cast to your TV in the middle of an episode, it will restart the episode and then you'll have to watch 2 minutes of ads to get back to where you were. Cuts off the ends of episodes with ads. Edit: also, if you try to use the 10 second rewind functionality, it will skip to the end and go to the next episode
3 ★I enjoyed this app for about 2 weeks. Now it tells me that I am offline, and to sign up for premium plus. The thing is that I am offline only for Peacock. Everything else shows me as online, and all other apps, such as Netflix work fine. This strikes me as a typical bait and switch. While most apps give you a free trial period, peacockjust seems to cut you off unless you purchase the premium plus.
1 ★Keeps disconnecting from Chromecast!!!!!! Big thumbs down. I don't usually give reviews at all for apps, but this is just that bad!!! everytme I reconnect, the same ad keeps replaying and it starts the movie all over again. Also, WORST BROWSING EVER. You can't filter through genre, so many choices but very little organization. Honestly, worst movie app ever.
1 ★Content is great but the app is an absolute disgrace. Laggy, over responsive, under responsive, hit rewind 10 seconds it goes forward over a minute, app crashes all the time, doesn't always save spot on show, etc. You'd think with such a big company owning it that they could hire an app developer that isn't an amature, or does proper testing. Then their reply to complaint is for you to waste MORE of your time and email them to help them. How about try using it yourself.
1 ★It had me sign up multiple times, only to then tell me I already had an account, but also couldn't find it. Took forever to connect. Turned everything off, then back on to "reboot". Took us nearly a half hour just to finally get the movie to stream. There's no way I'd pay for this without a complete overhaul of the app. **Edit** I just gave up. This is awful. So many connectivity problems it's not worth the headache. Uninstalling.
1 ★The only reason I own this app is for watching the Office and parks and rec. I pay 9.99 a month, and this app constantly freezes, kicks me out. Sometimes it won't even let me out of the app and it'll say app not responding, it won't start a show where I left off, completely restarts the episode. Do better peacock 🦚 seriously, or I'll cancel.
2 ★Wish it would tell you free only gives you the 1st epIsode of any season. I upgraded to premium through Google. Google charged me but the app shows I'm on the free plan. It's hard to reach support. Online chat requires you click through FAQs to connect. They couldnt find my payment and told me the problem was I used my Google account instead of giving them my card info directly. The solution is I ask Google for a refund and upgrade on their website. Beware using your Google account.
2 ★Pretty useless and frustrating app! The rewind function doesn't work most of the time. I go for rewind, and it forwards instead. I move the seek bar at one position, it hops to a completely different one. When I try to resume a partially watched clip, it restarts from the beginning instead. For such a big network, I'd have thought the user experience would have been of a much higher quality!
2 ★Decent app, but clearly quite primitive to show streaming. They need to try another services app, and copy some of the basic staples. Resuming a show has problems, as it restarts instead, and to catch back up I must watch ads. No Pip. Shows you're watching can't be clicked on anywhere,, besides searching the show, or simply pressing resume.
1 ★Really enjoyed the NBC sports app more than this. I primarily use it for Cycling content. Would be nice if it played in a window like the YouTube app when you switch to a different app. Also would be nice if when rotating my phone into portrait I could access the phone's software buttons rather than having to swipe up...and don't lock into landscape. Coming back to the app it starts playing the audio but the video just shows the tour de France splash screen / logo. I have to stop and restart.
1 ★Peacock is a terrible application for watching shows. It appears that the show continues to run while the incessant repetitive commercials play. Can't go back and see what you missed. Complete dialogs are missed. When you try to rewind you must watch the commercials again 5 or 6 times just to get the frames. Starting to think I will boycott the advertisers on the ads and tell the companies the reason is because they advertise on Peacock. I downloaded on most of my TV's and will surely quit all.
3 ★Its got things the others dont. However some things to fix, for the app: access to my watchlist since there is no option for that , when I open the app I should see what I'm currently watching displayed first, also when I leave the app open to answer the phone or send a text I shouldnt come back to it and have to restart the episode or movie I'm watching, that's kind of a pain to deal with. Other than that it's great.
