Lumi Nova is a National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended therapeutic mobile game that enables children & young people to learn life-long skills to self-manage their worries and build resilience through exposure therapy and psychoeducation.
Lumi Nova is for 7-12 year olds experiencing mild to moderate anxiety. Lumi Nova is not recommended for use with children who have severe anxiety, are in crisis, have suicidal thoughts or at risk of self harm.

GETTING STARTED:

Once you have been provided access, you will receive a text message with a link to get started (and receive your game key to activate the app)
Access Lumi Nova using your Game Key and complete the parent set up by shortlisting 3 goals for your young person to choose from
Each goal is broken down into several small challenges to help your young person achieve success
The first few challenges (imagine, draw, photos, and videos) happen in the game, while the rest happen in real life.
Parents/Guardians will need to unlock and support young people to complete real life challenges

5 ★Just thinks it really helps children during alot of stress and helps them to know they can do it . Thankyou .
1 ★After the initial signing up and adding info about my daughter I've not been able access the app at all as it won't load up on my phone. Every time I click on the app or the link in the text that I had nothing happens. I just keep getting text message reminders to log how my daughter is doing but yet I haven't been able to do any of this as she's not had one go on the app yet. Not sure why this is happening but it's rather disappointing.

5 ★This app made a massive difference to my 10 year old daughter, making her more able to feel comfortable going out to busy places and going to school. I wish it was accessible with either a longer licence or indefinitely once the licence was granted. It's about 3 months since the licence expired and some of my daughter's struggles are creeping back and she has on occasion asked to play the game. I think it could help her if she was able to access the game as needed for a year following discharge
