1-5번까지 문제를 출제하고 제한된 횟수 만에 맞추게 하면 된다. 3번과 5번 문제가 난이도가 높다.
프로그램을 실행하면 정답공에 삼각형 표시가 나타난다. 이건 정답을 맞추는 게임이 아니라, 논리적으로 어떤 공이 다른공과 무게가 다른지 제한된 횟수에 맞출 수 있게 하는게 목표이기 때문에 정답 공이 나타나도 크게 상관은 없다. 참고로 공에 빨간 삼각형이 나타나면 그 공만 무거운 공이고 파란삼각형이 나타나면 그 공만 가벼운 공이다. (필요에 따라서는 정답보기 체크 표시를 꺼서 정답공이 어떤 공인지 모르게 할 수 있다)
학생들이 논리적으로 접근해서 쉽게 맞추면, 제대로 이해했는지 정답 공 교체 버튼을 눌러 같은 방법으로 다른 공도 제한된 횟수만에 맞출 수 있는지 확인해 보게 한다.
위에 나타난 공을 드래그 해서 윗접시 저울 위에 사각형 영역에 끌어다 놓고 측정 버튼을 누르면 측정이 된다. 초기위치는 공들을 원래 위치로 보내는 버튼이고, 다시하기는 처음부터 다시하는 버튼이다. 다시하기를 눌러도 정답 공의 위치는 바뀌지 않는다.
우측상단에 문제선택을 다른 문제를 선택했다 다시 오면 정답공이 바뀐다. 아니면 정답공 교체 버튼을 눌러 직접 정답공을 바꿀 수도 있다.
