3 ★I used to love this player for my music but now it has trouble playing in the background and keeps shutting down by itself. I enjoyed how I could flip through my songs while in the lockscreen before it started having problems. Please fix I have used this player for years.
3 ★It doesn't show the playback in the notification bar 80% of the time and if it does the info isn't correct. For example I'll be listening to a different song and it'll show the song from before that I skipped. When the playback controller doesn't show up in the notification bar the widget stops working too. I gotta open the open then skip or pause the song. Very Annoying
2 ★Really great app but it wasn't able to read music in the folder I need it to. Ok so my music is in my syncthing (sync app) folder since syncthing does have privileges to change content in other folders on my sdcard. I have directed BlackPlayer to this folder inside the android apps folder yet it doesn't add my music to its library :( Five stars if it can do this.
4 ★Good app, it's functional and has various settings and customization options. I've been having a probkem where my headphone media button doesn't work at all! It would be nice if that was fixed or I knew how to fix it.
3 ★I love it. Nice UI, great functionality. I have two complaints: 1. Artist Image set manually keeps disappearing. Likewise, automatic artist image set does not ever work. 2. There is a bug with tag editing. Plus there's no option to edit "Album Artist" and "Release Year". Please fix.
5 ★Repurposed an old Moto G5 as an mp3 player. Downloaded BlackPlayer, it found all my music straight away along with artwork. Simple and straightforward to use. Sound quality very good. Bass boost works well, so often on other apps it makes the sound muddy. I like to listen to complete albums so I wish you could add music to playlists by album rather than track by track, but not a big issue.
4 ★One of the only music players I've found that correctly sorts albums by artist and has a nice interface to boot. Though I am experiencing a bug I think. When my phone restarts I have a notification from the app as if I was playing music, but the notification is basically empty. I have to manually swipe it away everytime.

3 ★Nice app, but it sometimes starts playing my shuffle list after I disconnected the BT earplugs. Strangest thing because it usually takes a while for it to suddenly start playing through the phones speaker. Sometimes annoying and sometimes outright embarassing haha.
3 ★Is there a way to fix the merging issue with albums? Trying to add a song to an existing album just creates a duplicate one. It's literally the only issue i have with the app.
5 ★When google muaic player went down i spent the next montj and half tryinf out new players for my music. Everyone of them either failed or has a huge flaw i could not ignore. Then I found BlackPlayer. Reads new tracks fast and has features that i didnt even know i needed till now. Tracks the artist and song i listen to most that month, tells me tells me the amout of hours ive listen to that month and all time. Just a great player and i recommend it to everyone. Up to 18,122 songs and counting.
2 ★I've had this app for a few years, but in the last couple of years I've noticed that it will cut the songs about a minute before the song is over. So what's up with the app or should I just find another one?
