Description
Ever wondered what the anthem of another country sounds like? Perhaps you are interested in a bit of history about the anthem of your own country?Now you can listen at your own leisure anthems from various countries around the globe while getting to know about their history with My Anthem app. The current version contains anthems for over 190 countries. The anthems are downloaded on demand and stored on SD Card. The app also offers the possibility to download all anthems for listening them offline. Each anthem can be set as ringtone once it has been downloaded so you can always listen to your favorite country anthem when your friends are calling you.
You can start playing the anthem for the desired country directly from the main screen by scrolling through the country list and pressing the Play button on the desired anthem. By clicking each country in the list, a new screen will pop up with detailed information about the anthem. From the country description screen you can click on it's national flag and view a higher resolution image of it. The zooming functionality is not available on all devices. It requires Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.
Each country contains information about:
- Country name
- Continent
- Anthem description
- Anthem title
- English translation of the anthem title
- Composer
- Adoption date
- Lyrics
- English translation of the lyrics
This free Android app is ads supported. Ads can be removed by an in-app premium purchase. This can be done by accessing the "Remove Ads" option from the Settings menu.
