Caffeine adalah grup band Indonesia yang didirikan di Bandung, Jawa Barat pada tahun 1996 dengan digawangi oleh Rudy, Beni, Danny, Daniel, Yandi, dan Yudi pada formasi awalnya. Mereka merupakan jebolan Indie Ten produksi Sony Music, Setelah meninggalnya Yandi[1], posisinya digantikan oleh Gagan.[2] Namun, band ini harus mengalami pergantian personel lagi. Personel Caffeine yang baru bergabung, Gagan resmi mengajukan untuk mengundurkan diri. Posisi Gagan kini digantikan oleh Alam. Perjalanan Karier
Caffeine merambah dunia musik Indonesia setelah sebelumnya 'ditemukan' oleh Noey, salah satu personel Java Jive. Caffeine kemudian merilis album pertamanya yaitu Hijau tahun 2000. Di album ini banyak mendapat bantuan dari Capung, penyanyi dan pencipta lagu terkenal yang juga berasal dari grup musik Java Jive. Album ini telah meraih double platinum. Album kedua Caffeine yang rilis tahun 2002 berjudul Yang Tak Terlupakan. Walaupun album ini tidak mendapat perhatian sebesar album pertama, namun terbukti sukses untuk mempertahankan eksistensi Caffeine. Kemudian di album ketiga yaitu Di Telinga dan Di mataku tahun 2003, Caffeine mendapatkan respon positif pasar musik Indonesia. Mereka kembali mendapatkan penghargaan platinum atas penjualan album ini. Caffeine sempat mengalami mati suri setelah mereka merilis album keempat yaitu The Best Of Caffeine yang keluar pada tahun 2004. Hal ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh meninggalnya sang bassis yaitu Yandi Sebastian pada tahun 2006. Namun pada tahun 2009, Caffeine mencoba bangkit kembali dengan meluncurkan album kelima yaitu Trilogi of Caffeine . Single yang populer dari album ini adalah Demi Cintaku . Album terakhir yang diluncurkan Caffeine adalah Audiography tahun 2012. Album ini mengemas ulang lagu Caffeine yang sangat terkenal yaitu Hidupku Kan Damaikan Hatimu, Aku Takkan Memiliki, dan Kau Yang Telah Pergi.Dan saat ini Caffeine bernaung di jalur indie.
