4 ★6/25/19 ha ha, I loved the first game and I really like this one already, can't wait to spend more time with this lil monster. score subject to be a five after I had more time it. 😊 !!!!UPDATE 6/27/19!!!! This new update fixed everything I had a dislike for. My only request is a return of the Bouncy minigame, I loved it and its music, so much so I made a remix of it. To me it sounded very Eastern European so I stuck to that theme.
3 ★Fun idle game. Cthulhu is cute even though it wishes not to be. I like the idea of the worshipers, but I found this game a little too demanding. It seemed all too frequent in the day Cthulhu ate a worshiper. I can't check on Cthulhu every couple hours on the dot so I suffer for it. I didn't enjoy most of the mini games so I was spending points faster than I was getting them to keep Cthulhu happy. The graphics and sound was great however. It's just not my kind of game.
3 ★Cute game, adds to the standard tamagochi dynamics and only has optinal ads. The downside is, that even though there are 3 mini games, I only found the first one enjoyable. Also, the game essentially punishes you for sleeping, because even is I take perfect care of Cthulhu right before going to bed, it always eats a witness by the time I wake up. I know, watching an ad for reviving them isn't much, it's just that I'd rather have more ads instead because this feels like punishment from the game.
3 ★I am a big fan of games which use real time systems to nurture creatures or families however, this game is pretty limited in what you can do and thus imho quite boring after a while. I get that this is a relatively new game, but there's not much else to do but essential care tasks and some minigames to collect souls (the currency). I hoped for more interactivity since it IS a omnipotent Eldritch god; maybe an endgame to the storyline? Also food costs WAY too much. Can we fix that system?
4 ★Cute, fun game. I played the original Cthulhu Virtual Pet, this one is a great improvement. Some points to improve are: bad touch sensitivity in the Link Souls minigame, random loss of connectivity to Google Cloud (connected to Google and reflects achievements but cannot upload game data to cloud), questionable ads. As a developer, can you pick your game category so that your ingame ads are only from a specific type? I didn't mind the ads of other games but ads today were for smut story apps.
3 ★I love this much better than the first one. My only suggestion is to make it easier to get the first level, or add more things to do. A lot of the game I can't even do yet because its behind a level gate. There's no things to do at level zero, and it looks like only one unlocks at level one. I've kept checking the game all throughout the day and I've gotten maybe 1/5th of level 0 done. Doesn't motivate me to keep playing.
5 ★Great game. It's fun, playful, and a great game overall. I do not recommend it if you have a tight schedule, as he gets hungry, sleepy, destructive, and stinky during all hours. Trust me, I know as I have it. I love that it has to do with Cthulhu and it is fun to show to friends given that they know Cthulhu. I do note however, that after level 8 or something he does not change form anymore. I recommend you get it FOR FREE and hopefully enjoy it!
5 ★An adorable, and surprisingly accurate, tamagotchi experience. Only this time it happens to be Cthulhu you are raising. Their pervious game was a gem in the rough and this one appears to have taken the lessons from that and expanded on it. Looking forward to the option to remove the bottom ads during gameplay. Happy to pay for that but continue to watch ads to revive followers. They help you make a living.
2 ★At current, the game is a little bit broken. The amount of souls you make from mini-games is almost always outweighed by the cost to heal them, meaning they arn't a viable source of income. In addition, even if i feed/wash/care for cuthulu before I go to bed, it will still eat a cultist, effectively making me watch a video every day. With a bit of balancing and more minigame this could be quite fun.
5 ★Hey guys, I had to uninstall because this game isn't for me. Although it's a VERY good concept and I hope the devs continue progress, for now it's just not gripping me. I had a lot of fun at first taking care of my world-ending tamagotchi and playing mini games to collect souls but got repetitive quickly with little else to do. I just looked at my phone a second before this review and my baby ate 3 worshippers! How dare he! Anyway, I'll check back later. Great concept!
3 ★Fun game and fun concept, but the execution leaves much to be desired. The minigames (the main method of getting souls) are limited to three lackluster games that most often hurt you as much as help you. Cthulhu's stats drop way too quickly. I wake up every morning to notifications saying "Cthulhu ate a witness!" despite catching up everything before bed. Very obnoxious. The art style/UI of the game is very cool, but the gameplay needs improved. Trying way too hard with the microtransactions.
3 ★This game is very charming and entertaining... to a point. Because it's a virtual pet, you have to return to the app every few hours. This is impossible overnight when you're sleeping. So, that means the pet eats a follower. Because of this, I have to watch a video as just to restore the follower. It all begins to feel very manipulative and restricting. Suddenly, this game becomes a chore, and I didn't sign up for a part-time job.
