2 ★At first this was a great game and I did rate 5/5. This new update, however, has proven incredibly frustrating. Leveling up is near impossible now and its frustrating. Why "fix" (break) something that wasn't broken to begin with? I'm not going to pay money to upgrade each time, as I can tell that's what you're implying by including all those new paid boxes. Now I literally just get on to check if you changed it back.
5 ★Graphics: 10/10. The battles, carts, and talking NPCs are all animated beautifully. I was very surprised as soon as the "trainer" appeared onscreen with his fluid animation, although it's just a static loop. Gameplay: 10/10. Despite the simplicity, there is a strong sense of satisfaction when winning many battles with the setup and design that YOU chose. There is definite strategy involved. Ads: 8/10. The most important part, right? Ads are not really disruptive. I've had 10 battles with no ads
3 ★This game is really fun; I LOVE the unique, strategic way of building your own vehicles to fight others. But there are WAY too many advertisements. Not only advertisements, but every time you open the app, you're bombarded with so many real cash purchases prompting you to buy them. You get about 5 purchase prompts IN A ROW. There's also no way to say, "Never ask again;" you can only press X to ignore until next time you open. Love the game itself, but needs WAY less ads and purchasing prompts.
4 ★cute, enjoyable, family friendly, a good way to kill time. My only complaint: at higher levels the "pay to win" thing tends to suck the fun right out of it... having no method for keeping pace with the people spending, without yourself spending money, is a big frustration. consider restructuring what's available via real world money exchange, versus what the game randomly generates. otherwise, great game.
3 ★This is a great game, very addicting, and I've been playing it for over a year.... But, it seems like every other update it does it glitches out when you watch ads to open a box. Reward bonus boxes let you watch the ad then freeze when you're supposed to get the reward. (so don't even watch the ad and maybe they will try to fix it since their ad Revenue isn't building)
3 ★Fun game. Too many ads. Lots of pay to win. CATS let's you build all sorts of little machines to do "combat" against other machines. There are a bunch of mini games, and lots of combos to choose from. This game is online only, watch ads to win game. Not just quick ads, but ads where you to tap multiple things to proceed. I bought the add-on to remove ads, but there are still ads everywhere. When you start the game, sometimes you have to click through 3 "sales" to start playing.
5 ★Fantastic game, the ads are not that bad of a problem, however I wish that I could have a bit more ads I can use to speed up crates. The metal crates taking six hours is a bit too Long, especially with the fact you can only hold four crates at a time, having four metal crates leaves you bored and almost forces you out of the game too early. Other than that, the gameplay is solid!
3 ★I don't usually review games, but there are some shortcomings in this game that I believe stop it from being excellent. I really dislike the way that parts can only be attached at very specific locations on the car, as this takes away from the sandbox experience I was hoping for. Also I feel the ranking system could use some work, as it seems I'm basically grinding all the time just to get better parts ranks rather than actually being forced to be creative and make a vehicle design that can win.
4 ★This game is great, honestly! Used to play it when it first came out, and it really has some upgrades that I find are really nice! Just one issue, and yes, you all know it, is the ADS! SO MANY, and some of them are the 30 second unskippable ads after you LOSE A FIGHT (or win). Yes, I think if you have the $3 and some odd cents to block the ads, do it. If not, just grin and bear it. It will take it's eventual toll, but regardless, the game itself is great!
4 ★It is a great game where you can play at your own pace! The outcome of your matches are random and what you can come up with to build! You can come across a monster build and still win. My only complaint is that when a bonus parts box comes up you need to watch an ad. Not an issue but when the ad ends, it hangs up thus you have to exit the game and you end up losing the box! This happens from time to time even on when trying to speed up parts boxes to open. It pisses me off to no end when I lose a bonus box because they are higher star parts. Things needed in the game is way to organize parts or a bulk sell. Scrolling through all the weapons you have gotten is a pain at times and selling one piece at a time is a little pain.
2 ★Used to be fun. I had recently re-download it and after about 20minutes of pop-ups and me needing to restart the app because it freezes because of the pop-ups, then it goes away. They force you to go through a tutorial but when a pop-up comes up to tell you about one of the MANY sales they have, the game gets stuck because you cannot click what the tutorial wants you to because the devs want you to pay for whatever package they decided to push at you. Uninstalling a game that was fun.
2 ★This started out great. Adorable kitties mixed with Battlebots, what's not to like? I even found a winning strategy- the Blade weapon plus the Forklift sub-weapon, so you could flip your opponent over (which disabled most non-Blade weapons) and slice into them! But then the kicker started to set in. You can't put parts where you want them. No, you have to get lucky- you need to find a body that has the right attachments, AND has those attachments where you want them- AND is actually a *good body*, 'cause it ALSO has stats attached to it. I consistently started to be unable to put my strategy into practice, 'cause I couldn't find a body that A: had a sub-weapon attachment point, B: had that attachment point in the *front* so I could actually use the forklift, C: could support running a good blade AND a Forklift, and D: was actually good. And at that point, I went from consistently winning matches, to consistently losing matches- which isn't a good feeling when the reason you're losing matches isn't in your control. It's just a letdown. I do not recommend this game.
