CNCO es un grupo musical de pop latino y reguetón formado en Miami, Florida el 13 de diciembre del 2015 por los ganadores de la primera temporada de La Banda, un programa de televisión emitido ese año por la cadena estadounidense de habla hispana Univision. ?Está integrada por el estadounidense de origen ecuatoriano Christopher Vélez, el dominicano Richard Camacho, el puertorriqueño Zabdiel de Jesús, el estadounidense de ascendencia mexicana Joel Pimentel y el cubano Erick Colón. Luego de conformarla, firmaron un contrato de cincos años con Sony Music Latin. El reguetonero puertorriqueño Wisin fue el productor de su primer disco llamado Primera cita. Ricky Martin es su representante artístico.
Sus primeros sencillos «Tan fácil» y «Quisiera», albergaron éxito en Latinoamérica. ? Lanzaron su álbum debut, Primera cita, el 26 de agosto de 2016. ? ? que incluía su sencillo más exitoso, «Reggaetón lento (Bailemos)», que alcanzó en un corto espacio de tiempo después de su lanzamiento en octubre, el primer lugar en las listas musicales de varios países y en Spotify, iTunes y SoundCloud en toda la región. Posteriormente, se realizó una versión de dicho tema con el grupo británico Little Mix, ? apoyando la internacionalización de la banda. ?
