5 ★Great port! Overall it works swell, but a few early complaints: * swipe for turns feels like it comes out late? I feel like I have to input it early rather than on the beat. * on the topic of swipe, it just looks weird that after the swipe I continue the motion for a while (even though i just did a quick swipe). * Is the sound effect for the level end node just missing? It seems much harder on mobile to get that consistently whereas on PS4 there was a sound effect that played as you approached
5 ★Excellent work Drool. As far as I can tell so far this isn't some half baked mobile version of the game; they've actually ported the full game from other platforms to Android, and given it a user friendly touch interface and scaled it to work well in portrait mode. On top of that, the game recognizes a controller, allowing me to pair my Bluetooth controller, turn it to landscape and effectively play it exactly as I would on any other platform.
4 ★30 seconds in and it's just as addicting as on stadia! The experience in mobile is very different but the get is such an amazing concept that it works on every platform that it's moved to so far. My one gripe is that the bettle vibrates when holding the phone still. At first I thought it was because I hadn't had my coffee yet. It could be that the accelerometer in my phone jitters, but there should be some stabilizing put in to smooth out the beete jitters that others have complained about too
5 ★Update : the triple-tap option for screen zoom in my Pixel 2XL was causing the latency issues. The game is impressively responsive now. Can't figure out timing. I'm not sure if I'm having latency issues or what. I've played this on the Oculus Rift quite successfully, but it's been a while, so maybe I forgot how to play or I just started sucking since it's first Rift release? Whatever it is I'm finding it unplayable. Looks just as good as I remember.
5 ★Thumper is one of my favorite games. I have played a lot of it on PC, Switch, and PS4. Having it in my pocket at all times is great. There's no other game -- mobile or otherwise -- that can touch Thumper's razor-honed rhythmic feedback. This is probably the ONLY game I've ever seen translated to mobile that has managed to keep the full experience intact.

5 ★Came to review this immediately after world 1. I own the PSVR version and bought this one out of principal, not expecting to enjoy it nearly as much, but within the first minute I had shut off the lights in my room and was reaching for headphones to play at full blast. This game looks, sounds, feels and runs fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was easily playable in both portait and landscape mode. Also has perfect opportunities to screenshot for cool phone wallpapers, so
5 ★Works well on a Galaxy S6 with the resolution set to low. I've experienced framerate drops when crossing checkpoints on medium resolution. Other than that, it's a solid port of the PC version. Bluetooth audio doesn't work (yet) and I kind of wish there was a calibration option.
5 ★Fantastic game, a visual and audio prowess. Bought for PSVR in 2017 but never finished until this Android version came out because of how comfortable it is. Surprisingly faithful and playable, I'm still blown away by how polished it is and the Noclip/GDC talks about its production are very interesting. Kudos to Brian, Marc and everyone who contributed. This game definitely doesn't need a sequel, yet this template would work so well for a series with different moods/themes. A work of art.
5 ★1.01 update edit: working beautifully on OnePlus 6T now! I am so hyped!! Someone else mentioned Bluetooth audio is great, so I tested with OnePlus Bullets Wireless, and can confirm that the audio delay is on point! The same review mentioned landscape support, in which I did not know since my rotation is locked. That's also great! I can't wait to get to the final levels and see how hectic it is with touch controls! Good stuff, Drool!
5 ★I adored Thumper on PC and look forward to showing this around. Thumper is absolutely gorgeous in portrait mode. Its tilt/touch controls are more forgiving than I remember which is good for mobile. Audio delay compensation would be a nice feature but this is relatively cheap so it's not a deal breaker. This is a perfect mobile game. - Just be weary of crushing your phone or pulling gnarly faces in public. The intensity just keeps mounting as you play.
5 ★Samsung S9+, Android 9. There is a graphical display glitch which renders the track invisible and the game unplayable. EDIT: The develops responded very promptly and fixed the display bug for the effected devices. This is an amazing game, regardless of which platform its released on and well worth the small asking price.
