Description
Portugal possui um vasto património geológico que importa conhecer e proteger. Um dos locais com um vasto património geológico é o Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros (PNSAC). O PNSAC, criado em 1979, é constituído pelas duas serras que lhe dão o nome. Possui uma área de cerca de 35 000 hectares, cobrindo mais de dois terços do maciço calcário da Estremadura, a maior área de calcário em Portugal.Esta aplicação visa apoiar uma atividade outdoor enquadrada na disciplina de Ciências Naturais, do 5.º ano. A atividade inclui oito paragens que exploram o valor cultural, científico e educativo do património geológico do PNSAC, concretamente da região de Chãos – Alcobertas, em Rio Maior.
Para apoiar a exploração da atividade disponibilizam-se dois documentos, um para os alunos, com diferentes tarefas para realizaram em cada paragem, e outro para o professor, com sugestões de exploração das tarefas propostas.
