Shahzod guruhining solisti Rashid Xoliqov 1973-yil 28-aprelda Toshkent shahrida tavallud topdi. Xonanda poytaxtimizdagi 95-maktabni a'lo baholarga bitirib so'ng san'atga juda ham chanqoqligi sababli O'zbekiston Davlat San'at institutiga o'qishga kiradi. Institutda o'qib yurgan davrlaridan boshlab Rashid Holiqov qo'shiq kuylashga juda ham qiziqar edi. Ilk ijodini esa 17 yoshida boshlaydi, 1990-yilda u akasi Ravshan Holiqov bilan birgalikda "Shahzod" guruhini tashkil qiladi. "Shahlo ko'zli malikam" qo'shig'i Rashidning ilk xit taronasiga aylangan. Undan so'ng "O'ynaysan", "Aziz yurtim", "Leyla", "Nozli gulim", "Yo'q-yo'q" va shu kabi qo'shiqlari va barcha-barchasi "Shahzod" guruhining xit taronalari desak adashmaymiz. Rashid Holiqov qo'shiqlarni nafaqat o'zbek tilida, balki rus, fransuz, arab tillarda ham ijro etgan. Xonanda juda ko'plab Davlat mukofotlariga sazovor bo'lgan, M&TVA AWARDS, "Tarona" taqdimoti, "Nihol" mukofotlari hamda 26 yoshida O'zbekistonda hizmat ko'rsatgan artist unvoniga ega bo'ldi.Ushbu to`plamda Rashid Holiqovning:
