La RadioNació un 18 de Noviembre de 1978 cuando todavía no estaba aun experimentada como en la actualidad el sistema de Frecuencia Modulada (FM) siendo radio de Audiofrecuencia (por cable) o como comúnmente se conocía como Radio de Circuito Cerrado. En 1986 comenzaron las primeras señales en Frecuencia Modulada solamente en horario vespertino hasta llevar toda la programación en FM y con ello la desaparición lentamente del sistema de circuito cerrado. Actualmente transmite las 24 horas del día con diferentes programas teniendo el orgullo de tener el 70% de su programación en vivo, todos de producción propia. Radio Líder es el primer medio de comunicación de Bigand y único dirigido por su propio dueño y director con Sigla Oficial del Comité Federal de Radiodifusión (Comfer); confiriéndole la legitimidad e el uso del espectro radioeléctrico. La Sigla Oficial instituida por el Comfer es LRI 323 y esta ubicada en el 90.7 del dial. En cuanto a la faz técnica dispone de una torre para antena de 48 metros de altura con 8 dipolos, equipos de 300 watts de salida; las coordenadas geográficas son Latitud 33° 27' 32'' S – Longitud 61°10'50'' W Fundador y Director: Jorge Pelliccioni Gerente de Programación: Mercedes Beatriz Agüero.
