Education FM radio Sarajevo je osnovan 1996. godine na inicijativu sarajevskih studenata, a uz pomoć UN misije u Bosni i Hercegovini. Zamišljen je kao medij na kojem će raditi mladi ljudi za mlade ljude. Ovo je radio na kojem se mladi ljudi upoznaju sa osnovama radijskog, televizijskog i web novinarstva kroz neformalne programe. Od vremena osnivanja kroz ovaj medij je prošao veliki broj renomiranih bosanskohercegovačkih novinara. Misija eFM radija podrazumjeva stvaranje mladih novinara, kvalitetnog medijskog sadržaja i razvoj kritičke svijesti u modernom bosanskohercegovačkom društvu.
