Description
Tihai Shastra is an app to compose and play tihai, a polyrhythmic phrase typically used to conclude a piece in hindustani music. A Tihai composition consists of a pala (with or without pause or gap) which is repeated three times and lands on the sum or start of the taal. The app can be used for kathak / tabla / hindustani vocal singing practice.★ Guide Mode - To guide the choice of tihai to start from any matra of a given taal
★ Compose Mode - To compose tihai with pala lengths of upto 48 matra
★ Choose to play tihai in any of the 6 different gun (speeds) : Barabar to chegun
★ Play tihai in more than 15 taal teka
★ Play teka with tihai in the selected taal at different speeds
★ Save the composed tihai into a library/collection for subsequent retrieval
