How to use this?

1. You launch the gallery app.
2. Select by, for example, press and hold the file you want to rename.
3. Select "Rename file" in the upper right corner of the gallery from the "Share".
4.Input new file name.
5. If you press the OK button, rename starts.
6. Complete!

5 ★So you take a really great picture that you wish to remember. And the phone give it this long name you'll never recall. With this app you can quickly and easily rename that photo for later. It is fast and easy. It is a must have.
5 ★Simple. Easy to use. This is not a stand-alone app; It is a plug-in! Itdoes not work on its own. In fact, you don't need to keep this icon on yourhome screen. I figured it out without instructions, but here are the steps:Open your photo gallery >choose a picture >long press on the picture to getyour options tray >press the share button (which looks like aconnect-the-dots tent pointing left) >scroll down to find the GalleryRename Plug-in icon (some users may have to press "show more" or "show all"before they see the icon) > click the icon >a pop-up will open >at thebottom of the pop-up, you can erase the stupid number name of your pictureand name it whatever you want > click "OK" and you're done. 1 ★I used happily in renaming photos in full size but a recent change of phone to Sony Xperia with Android 7. 1.1 Gallery Renamer no longer shows a rename function?!?! Please fix and stars will be yours.... but make sure one can copy the text entered in the rename editor.
5 ★I have it on my new Moto G 3gen and both apps work as stated!!! Very happy because I can create folders to move my pic's. I can still keep my old moto gallery and not lose the preview part of it with the new up date.... And still move my pic's around, create new folders and preview them!!!
