In XtremeSoaring3D, the cockpit is highly simulated with ultra-realistic 3D cockpit, full function dash-board, realistic sound effects and all moving parts.
Flight characteristics are also highly accurate thanks to the Blade element theory. Wings are breaking down into several small parts and then determined the forces on each of these small elements. These forces are then integrated along the entire wing in order to obtain the forces and moments produced by the entire wing. This results in a highly dynamic, accurate flight model for each specified aircraft with wing-flex simulated. All together this sim put the human pilot into an highly immersive flying environment.
Thermal lift and ridge-lift are also highly simulated and could be visualized in flight.
Beside flying, the beauty of soaring sport is also the landscapes, the countrysides that we glide over. Therefore, we manage to integrate terrain data in this sim using high resolution satellite images and elevation. This resulted in a look real, beautiful landscapes with highly detail airport hangars and runways.

4 ★Excellent. A solid piece of work. But, please lose that music, it's driving me mad. Maybe we could pick our own from our legally purchased collection. So no worries about copyright. Remember that old Fleetwood Mac number 'Albatross'? No, of course you don't. That was in Pete Green's days with the band. It brings back memories of ridge soaring in Cornwall, Peranporth I think. But that was a long time ago when I was young. I'm an old man now, and the mind tends to wander. Bit like Abe' Simpson. Any way, keep it up young man, well done.
4 ★I like that this game uses realistic physics to control the game. One thing I'd like to see is a continue flight option. I get dropped alot cuz at any given time during the day there are 5 people sharing the wifi bandwidth at home which means i lose connection during daytime races and free flights. It'd be nice to be able to get back into my races and finish them even if i lose after dropping connection. Other than that can we get more planes and locations? Colorado springs is great for ridge flying
1 ★Totally wasted my money buying this. Unfortunately I did not try opening the App until a few days after I had bought it - and to my horror it tries to open, then crashes. No explanation or error messages.
5 ★In the air cadets I got gliding scholarship and various future advanced training courses. This takes me back. Very realistic and while it's a bit aimless, that's what or gliding was like. Up and looking for thermals, there is a racing mode as well, but it's not something I've ever done. This is the most realistic gliding SIM yet. Right down to the shakes in stalling. Well worth the cost.
5 ★I'm impressed! The only issue I've noticed so far is that there is no way to exit the app other than force closing it... The back button does nothing... This is on a Samsung Galaxy S3.
5 ★The game looks awesome, runs very smooth and looks real. The sounds and glider handling are very nice simulated. I am having great time with this simulator. It is obvious that a lot of passion has been dedicated by the developers. Totally worth its money.
3 ★Great game but let down by the trim, flaps and air brakes being hard to control. Also would be nice to have a larger range of gliders from old t21 and k13 to libelle and ash25
5 ★You don't shoot anything and not mission based. This is a top notch 3d glider Sim which requires a degree of skill. A great Sim with beautiful scenery with realtime online players. A must have, great to see its been re-released
3 ★Galaxy S6. When the app is working, it's brilliant, but I often get a Black Screen Of Death and have to crash it out and start again, which is irritating
5 ★I have the free version,which is the best glider sim I've seen so far, now I'm hoping this version gives more choices. Great apps, keep working in the same vain and you can't go wrong, in my opinion.
5 ★Amazing physics and lots of fun, this is a sim, boring if you have no idea what your doing, but great for escaping to cloudbase any time :-)
