4 ★Classic, indeed. The game could benefit from more certainties, bug fixes, modes and all that made the franchise years ago. I'm waiting for the day I can add back the last star.
2 ★I loved this game. It was simple and straightforward. And after this update, it's a mess. I lost all my hard earned progress, for concession they gave me few of my earned perks and made the game interface more complex. The new star system and upgrading blades is more hectic. Dojos have lost their ability. I earned them by upgrading, and now they are asking me to do tasks to unlock those abilities , like what? No power ups too. Didn't like the new update.
2 ★This update has just ruined a flawless offline game. I'm all for adding new blades and backgrounds but to take the effects from the backgrounds and remove power ups just makes no sense to me. The currency system is so random and an unnecessary addition, it felt good unlocking a blade or background knowing you can use its full abilities from the get go but now it just feels like another annoyance with the upgrade system locking us out. Please bring back the original version I know you can.
1 ★Zero stars. Forcing me to create an account to play is a non-starter. uninstalled. This app has has lived on my phone for years. The latest update forces you to create a half brick account, and won't let you play until you do. Sorry devs, but that's a big nope for me. Uninstalled it.
1 ★Just updated this game, and... It was a terrible mistake, just... What the heck is this?!? I paid for the classic version of the game and i just got an ad-free version of the free version of fruit ninja, and NOT ONLY i got a "new" look that nobody asked for BUT i also lost a good chunck of my progress! where's the "classic" look that the title advertises?!?, Good job halfbrick, ruining the perfect game.
5 ★It's a little glitchy, and loading crashes at times, but I have loved this game for years, so it's worth the effort to get it to work.
1 ★To think I paid money for this before the update. The entire reason I paid money was to play the original. Now you have taken that from me and replaced it with some cheap modernization. You removed the simple menu with an overwhelming amount of unnecessary things. You make me play online to progress. You removed the usefulness of the dojos. You removed more features then you added. My high score is literally impossible to beat now due to this change, you made it impossible. So fix it or refund
2 ★This game use to be amazing, with powerups you could use in arcade, and I wanted to get the special blade for reaching level 100. Ever since the update, my: blades, dojos and level has been reset. Not all the blades and dojos from the previous version are in this update and you can't use the powerups in arcade. It's basically a new game.
5 ★This is a great alternative to the modern bloated live service ad riddled version, which is the closest thing you'd get to the OG version back in 2010 when iOS & Android games alike were first gaining popularity. One question though, what is the difference between this version and the paid version, "Fruit Ninja Classic+"?
2 ★The game WOULD have been perfect except the upgrading system and jackpot system being unfair, I HAVE TO GRIND FOR A BLADE I EARNED IN ORDER TO GET A ABILITY, the jackpot is pointless, there are so many potential and creative things to earn a ability but why only the jackpot???? Even if I get a blade duplicate, I'll just get a MINOR POWER GARUNTEED I got even like 3 or 5 levels and I DIDNT GET A MAJOR POWER. PLEASE make it that so if you unlock the blade itself, make it so you have abilitys insta
4 ★Lot to like, two things though. One I wish there were more opportunities to get spin tokens and two for whatever new missions don't always appear after the timer runs out
1 ★I loved Fruit Ninja to the point where I shelled out actual money because the free version was a gimmicky unmanageable nightmare. My app updates and what do I have to deal with? A gimmicky unmanageable nightmare. No thank you.
