The Waylens camera is designed for drivers. With the sleek lines of its unibody aluminum enclosure, gorgeous metallic detailing, and completely circular retina OLED display, Waylens has gone beyond the boxiness of ordinary cameras to design a device that perfectly complements the interior of any high-end vehicle. By combining video with data, the Waylens camera empowers users to tell the full behind-the-wheel story. With a Bluetooth enabled connector tapping directly into the car’s computer, users can record what’s happening under the hood as well as what’s on the road. In addition to performance data from the vehicle, the Waylens camera is loaded with its own suite of advanced sensors, including a 10 Hz, high resolution GPS, a 9-axis motion sensor to show the G forces a car can pull, and dual microphones to capture the symphony of exhaust notes. Data is automatically displayed over recorded video, creating for viewers the closest thing to actually sitting behind the wheel. The touch screen doubles as a user-definable gauge, expanding the dashboard to include any of the available data streams in real time.

4 ★The apps is very unstable. Everytime I open it, only 50%chance to successfully connect to the camera. After connected, 80% of reloading app require when viewing the record.

2 ★As a dashcam the simplest of functions is automatically record over oldest recordings. This device failed in that! Update? Very expensive device to miss such a basic feature.

2 ★Been trying to export with data overlay but it doesn't every time. Tried to export a highlight clip in the enhance menu with overlays turned on. The output video still has no overlays

1 ★This camera failed me miserably. I was so excited to get it for a two day track event with Mclaren. I got the camera set up and connected to the OBD and was ready to go. The camera connect to the windshield mount is not made for real track driving and at one point came off my windshield on to my dash and almost out the window of my Mclaren. The connection process needs significant improvement and or an additional security measure to keep this from happening. Now for the real disappointment. The camera didn’t record anything. After shooting a few days of videos and approximately 4 to 5 hours of track time the camera was showing numerous over one hundred recordings; however, none of them would play, none of them had the OBD data and the three or found that would play were 1 minute clips only and not the full video. I am so disappointed this camera is horrible. The customer support was horrible and pretty much blamed my memory card. I am beyond disappointed. If I knew this camera was such garbage I would have brought my GoPro. Waylens used every excuse except faulty technology and a poor user interface that does not work properly. I lost hours and hours of amazing track footage from
