Holly Stonehouse followed the clues from her old family house to ultimately arrive at Dark Falls Asylum and see once again that someone was already there, waiting for her. However, this time she is no longer an observer, and what is following her is no longer just a shadow - the danger is real and the asylum comes alive at night. By collecting clues, perusing notes and photographs, unlocking devious puzzles and piecing together complex sequences of actions, help Holly escape the night and find the answers. Was her mother crazy or was there really another sister? Did her mother commit suicide? How could Dahlia "come back" after the fire, and who or what is the terrifying thing that Holly saw at Heather's house and that has followed her ever since?

3 ★Overall I was kind of disappointed. Not as good as the first one. I got to the point where she drinks the potion made from holly berries and such and the game froze and now it's telling me I completed the game play and that I need to make a new account. I never finished the game and am kind of frustrated. I would appreciate if that could be fixed. Compared the the first one it is not as interesting, the world being so open makes you rely on the maps and hints at certain points as the information needed isn't there. Also the world being so large just makes it too much. It doesnt hold your interest as much. It is annoying to have to flip through 30 pages of notes just to get to the correct note to solve it. I absolutely adored the first one but this one just doesn't hold the same allure. Unfortunately as well the puzzles in this game sometimes don't make too much sense to continue the story line and are just random. I played the little beta they released out and was excited but as it continues I just have lost some of my excitement . The gameplay itself could have been better without having such a large open world. The story line is also a lot and a bit confusing. Also the puzzles often don't complete or you don't have the necessary info to finish them. Not only that but there's certain things you dont even finish? Like the door with all the chains and locks never got unlocked among other things. The graphics though are fantastic and are the best of any mobile game I've ever seen! The music and tone of the game are also amazing, the lay out is very simple as far as the world. The mood set is also very interesting and has a certain allure too it. Also while i believe some glitches need to be fixed as far as the puzzles and such go such as me being unable to complete the game they were very interesting to figure out, some of them were very unexpected. How much detail and effort put into this game can be clearly observed. This game is a good game overall and the people who worked on it did a great job.
5 ★Great fun for a curiosity teaser, also making good use of exploring mysterious plot and scenic places. The puzzles & mysteries you need to solve to move the game along are as challenging as you desire, especially since yo have the options settings available. It's got enough scare & creepiness to keep you hooked for hours & best of all is that you can try the game out for its first part for free. The game (without ads) is extremely worth getting the 2nd part for just $5! BZ Dev's! A work of art!
4 ★i really like this game. my only complain is some things are hard to find because they blend in so well with the environment that i had to use the hint to find them. that was a bit frustrating because i wanted to go the whole game without using a hint. i also had issues where i know i hit a certain area and nothing happened only to use the hint and it tell me to hit the same area and the game progress.
4 ★The only issue I have is that for whatever reason the audio controls don't function properly. I usually play games while listening to music or audio books, so I don't want to just turn my phone audio off entirely. When I have both sliders down, I still get audio from the tapes and sound effects. Other than that, fantastic game!
5 ★No review could realistically describe just how amazing this game series is... The first game had me entertained and wanting more, but this one left me obsessed and completely addicted. It's full of fun and challenging puzzles delicately woven in to a thrilling mystery story worthy of it's own horror movie against the backdrop of the most amazing animation and beautiful graphics. I cannot praise it's creators/designers enough...
5 ★One of the best point and click adventure/puzzle games I've seen for mobile. Great graphics, logical puzzles, and good story. I don't always have patience to read all the long notes so it would be nice if the story exposition could be better integrated into the audio and visual experience.
4 ★I really enjoyed playing this game. The plot along with the clues has me still anxiously waiting for part 3! The games within the map made sense in presentation . I was able to understans what I was suppose to solve, and they were still challenging. I have never bought a game but purchased both one and two. Great game.
5 ★I really enjoyed this game! I love the escape room games. It has enough challenge to give me something to focus on without being too hard. I like that you can choose the difficulty level. It also had just enough jump scares to make it feel like a scary movie at times. I don't love having to pay to finish the story but I get you have to fund it. Overall I loved it and can't wait for part 3!!
5 ★Enjoyed another thrill ride in the True Fear trilogy! If the first installment of this game series was good, then this 2nd installment was like hitting a home-run. Gaming time was longer (excellent!), more cohesion in puzzle clues, and, of course, graphics kicked as§. Impatiently waiting for Part III... (My quips: the lens was too small and the notes got a bit too wordy just in general. BUT!.. I loved the cassette tapes and floppy disks. '80s and '90s tech in an app game? So cheeky!)
5 ★Guys! every next game I play is as great or better 👌 It's challenging, entertaining, addictive. Great story line. No need to say how wonderful graphics and sound is for that kind of game! I even lost interest to my MMORPGs! Got all extended versions. On the last one... Don't know what will do after finishing it 😬 Plese keep your great work up and keep the story going!
5 ★I bought this after the 1st. I absolutely love this game series, & I am waiting here as patient as possible for #3. The series reminds me of both the Nancy Drew PC game series from 2007 and Resident Evil 1 PS version from 2002. The story is getting better, the graphics are on point, the 2nd is on iOS, for a bigger screen. The whole concept of this game is so nestogic, reminding me of my teen years. Thanks!
5 ★I really enjoyed playing this. The graphics are great, I love the layout of how you learn about the characters and get an inside on their correspondence. The length of this game was good, and the puzzles were well done. I'm anxious to see how the sfory concludes. As others have said I am not one to purchase games, but this was well worth it. Great job.
