اکبر گلپایگانی / گلچین آهنگ های گلپا :اکبر گلپایگانی متولد دهم بهمن ماه 1312خوانندۀ آواز و ترانه و یكی از پنج خوانندۀ بزرگ برنامه‌های گل‌ها در سال‌های ۱۳۳۸-۱۳۵۰ ش است. او در خانواده‌ای که اهل هنر بود متولد شد و صدای خوش در خانوادۀ او موروثی بود. برادران او همگی در موسیقی و آواز ایرانی، دارای دانش و تجربه و شهرت قابل توجه‌اند. تحصیلات او در رشتۀ فنی نقشه‌برداری بوده است؛ به واسطۀ آشنایی‌ای كه با ردیف‌دان آن عصر، نورعلی برومند (۱۲۸۴-۱۳۵۳ ش) پیدا كرد، توانست طی نه سال شاگردی او، دورۀ كاملی از ردیف‌های آوازی را بیاموزد و از هنر خوانندگان سالخورده‌ای كه از عصر قاجار باقی مانده بودند، استفاده كند. اولین برنامۀ آوازی او به همراهی ساز در سال ۱۳۳۸ ش در «گل‌ها» برنامۀ گل‌های جاویدان شمارۀ ۱۴۱ اما با آواز در برگ سبز شمارۀ ۸۵ مست مستم ساقیا دستم بگیر در مایۀ شور و همراه پیانوی مرتضی محجوبی و شعری از بیژن ترقی، شهرتی پایدار و زودرس برای او آورد.او خیلی سریع به رادیو جذب شد و حمایت داوود پیرنیا، جایی شایسته را در این برنامه‌ها برای او در نظر گرفت. اكبر گلپایگانی با نام هنری «گلپا»، به وجود آورندۀ روشی تازه در آواز كلاسیك ایرانی شد كه از سال ۱۳۳۹ ش به بعد، قوی‌ترین گرایش اجرایی در این هنر بین مردم را نشان داد.
