القرآن الكريم يحض على التحصين من خلال الاستعاذة بالله عز وجل. اِسْتَعاذَ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ: لَجَأَ إِلَيْهِ، اِعْتَصَمَ بِهِ، استجار به. اِسْتَعاذَ بِاللَّهِ: قالَ أَعوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجيمِ.يقول بن كثير في تفسير سورة الفاتحة: ومعنى أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم، أي: أستجير بجناب الله من الشيطان الرجيم أن يضرني في ديني أو دنياي، أو يصدني عن فعل ما أمرت به، أو يحثني على فعل ما نهيت عنه؛ فإن الشيطان لا يكفه عن الإنسان إلا الله؛ وأمر الله بالاستعاذة به من الشيطان الجن لأنه لا يقبل رشوة ولا يؤثر فيه جميل؛ لأنه شرير بالطبع ولا يكفه عنك إلا الذي خلقه،
إنَّ قراءة سورة البقرة تطردُ الشّياطين؛ فالشّياطين تنفر من البيت الذي تُقرأ فيه سورة البقرة، كما جاء في صحيح مسلم عن أبي هريرة -رضي الله عنه- أنَّ رسول الله عليه الصّلاة والسّلام قال: (لاَ تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِى تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ).[٥]
أخبر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنّ في أخذ سورة البقرة بركة وفي تركها حسرة للإنسان، وأنّ السّحَرة لا يستطيعون فعل شيء معها، قال عليه السلام: (اقرؤوا سورةَ البقرةِ؛ فإنَّ أخْذَها بركةٌ، وترْكُها حسرةٌ، ولا تستطيعُها البطَلَةُ(

سورة الصافات سورة الرحمة: لاحتواء آيات السورة الكريمة على ما يشفي الإنسان من بعض الأمراض التي تُصيبه فتكون رحمةً له بتخليصه من مشاكل المرض. الصاعقة: كون آياتِها الكريمة لها القدرة بإذن الله على صَعق وصرع أنواعٍ كثيرة ٍمن الشياطين والجن التي تتلبّس الإنسان، وتُخضعه لسيطرتها فيفقد إرادته، وهذا مرض يصعب على الطبّ علاجه فقراءة آيات سورة الصافات على المصاب بهذه الحالة يؤدّي إلى إخراج الشيطان من جسم المصاب بإذن الله. الناطقة: تُسمّى بالسورة الناطقة لأن قارئها يستطيع إنطاق الجنّ أو العارض الذي يتلبس الإنسان فيطلب منه الخروج من جسم المريض فيخرج باذن الله تعالى
