5 ★With Kia Access/UVO It's great having instant communication with my car. The app reminds me when I failed to lock the door. During the recent winter storm I was stuck inside my home for a week. With Kia Access with UVO I could periodically start my vehicle and keep the battery charged without having to go outside.
1 ★I've hardly got to used it (new car) but there is always a problem takes to long, says there is an error, shows me the wrong details from my car, won't let me add a driver. I think this app could be awesome and very helpful but severely needs to be updated
1 ★The system keeps sending notifications that the car is open when it is already locked. UPDATE: So I followed directions below and contacted customer service with my issue. Case # 14231914. I have now changed my review to 1 star. They replied with instructions to disable the alerts feature to ensure I don't get the false messages again. WOW. Great solution to what ai thought was a wonderful feature when it worked correctly. Guess I will not be giving them my money when the year is up.
2 ★App doesn't correctly read settings in car. I changed oil change frequency to 5000 miles. Reads correctly in car, but app still shows 8000. No way to change it. Useless...... 2022 K5 GT.
2 ★App is buggy, for example I can't change the preferred dealer, won't let me search by state, zip, or address. Even though it says you can. It keeps telling me "ReverseGeoCoding: Invald address". The user interface is clunky, if you try to use the back button to go back screens it just asks if you want to exit. Button positioning is a pain, the layout is not user friendly either. The idea of the app is awesome, the reality is a much different story. I will be uninstalling for now.
4 ★Great app during the 36 month free trial! After that it's still good for monitoring battery charging progress remotely, but I'm not paying $10 a month to be able to lock my doors remotely or see my vehicle location on a map. The subscription fees are a rip-off, but it's an awesome app while everything is free.
4 ★I realy like the remote start and climate controls. It really comes in handy on those freezing cold days and the steamy hot days as well. I also like the reminders when I forget to clock my doors and the ability to lock them from wherever I am without physically having to go and lock them. The alerts are great.
3 ★Revised review from 0 stars. Thanks for fix: I disabled fingerprint security generally for the phone; now I access app without my unreliable finger. I've never used many of the fancy features-now expired. I have little interest in paying for service that I was unable to access; frustrating for months until I noted the issue here. Initial response-broken link. Thanks for sending better information. The app needs a method to remove the fingerprint block independently from the system level.
3 ★The app itself works fine for the most part, notifications on the other hand are almost nonexistent. The only time I receive push notifications is soon after opening the app, if the app hasn't been opened for a little while, even just a couple of hours, it goes back to not sending notifications. I have disabled sleep on the app and turned off battery restrictions and it hasn't made a difference. My wife has an IPhone and never has these issues with the iOS app.
1 ★App takes WAY too long to refresh to enable auto start, doesn't matter if I'm on my network for wifi.
4 ★I love it when it's working. I have a new K5. The features are great. I would give 5 stars only the app is too finicky. Some days it just won't open, other times it will not link with the car (even if I had just driven it). That being said, I would imagine the scheduled start would be too unreliable to depend on.
3 ★App works okay. Sometimes it's delayed with the information it gives. Very heavy on notifications email and push. But a very nice car and going to lose some very nice functions if you don't pay a monthly fee.
