4 ★Great game, really enjoying it, but hints needed. The puzzles are hard which is refreshing but it would be so much better if there was the occasional hint... I've been reading the other reviews for hints on the Place of Power episode. Stuck in the guys house who's unconscious, if anyone can help, pleeeeaaase do. Not sure if this is allowed but the Luck Potion requires the horseshoe which is in the part of the museum with the guillotine.
5 ★Came across this game and thought meh I'll give it a try and to my surpise it was better than what I expected!! The storyline is brilliant! It's comedic and fun at best! The soundtrack actually reminds me of Stranger Things. And I'm hoping that we can get more episodes to solve? Hopefully?? And the ads are great cause you can choose whenever you want to watch them! Overall, it's incredibly great I found this gem of a game :D
3 ★While its good for what it is it Does have a few issues. The touch control seem a little off, usually below the object you want to click. Its pretty short the first episode, so short it didnt really interest me to buy more and only try the last. There is some great comedy but some jokes/references flew over my head. Other than that its pretty good, just those few nitpicks. If you're a fan of PnC's or want a short adventure play it, if not, its still a good time to try out.
3 ★I love the cookie option. I get the game for free and y'all get paid. Win win. I like the nostalgic graphics. The dialogue is funny but in serious need of spell correction. I ran into a few glitches. When I would re-enter a room an item I already picked up would be back in its place until I clicked on it or a text box of something I had already investigated would automatically pop up. Nothing serious. The game is overall short and not challenging enough to pay for but still enjoyable to play. 3*
4 ★Rarely do I ever play a mobile game for the story. It's Dr. Who meets John Constantien with a hint of Supernatural, all wrapped up in a 90's era Lucas Arts esq. bow. I find the writting, the comedy in particular, to be spot on in its incredible use of foreshadowing! However, the game does have its flaws. (Though mostly minor in my opinion, still must be addressed.) The difficulty spike from ep.3-4 is jarring and a spellcheck would help smothen out some of the jokes. That being said... 4/5 👍GG
5 ★I absolutely adore everything about this. I love the wit and humour, the characters are interesting and dynamic, and you get to have a cat! What more could someone want? It gives you the option to pay to get stories faster, which is a great way to support the devs, but if you're as broke as I am then you can just as well unlock the stories by watching short ads or saving up daily rewards. This has the same sort of feel as early Hellblazer comics. A great addition to the occult detective genre!
5 ★I am in love with pixelated rpg-adventure games and this game is no exception. The gameplay, storyline and graphics are amazing. I see some minor fixes that can be made in the translation (some texts are not translated in english when the game settings is in english) but other than that everything is so well made. Thank you devs for making this game!
4 ★Its short and nice. The graphics are simple but pretty and charming, the stories are interesting and made me chuckle at times. The only gripe I have is really that I wasn't smart enough to figure the door lock puzzle in the first chapter out fast enough and so the game simply unlocked the door for me after a bit. I would have liked to have the option to simply continue trying to solve it myself
4 ★Really fun adventure puzzle game! The first episode is kind of short, but the second makes up for it in length and also by providing back story. Edit: I finished eps 3 and 4. Puzzles were fun and sometimes challenging, but part 4 had some major noticeable grammar issues. The story was still pretty good, but I got pulled out of the "zone" a few times when I couldn't tell what the characters were trying to say. If the developers need someone to help with the script, I gladly volunteer my services.
5 ★I loved it. Episode one was short but the rest weren't. You can click on cookies at any point in the game to get clues. The story was nice. I kinda liked the art too. I clicked on everything just to hear the dialogues The first episode was free and the next three requires cookies. 2 requires 30 and 3 and 4 requires 60 each. To unlock cookies you need to watch quite a few ads... But I managed to get it in less than a week, so in the end I played the WHOLE GAME FOR FREE. So 5/5 for me. Great job.
4 ★Fun point and click puzzle game with witty dialogue. Unfortunately, Episode 4 takes a nosedive when the dialogue appears to have not been proofread at all. The reveal of Mr Doe's true identity was so abrupt and mangled by bad grammar that it felt extremely anticlimactic. Otherwise, I enjoyed this game and look forward to the next episode's release. Please get it proofread first, though. I would even do it for free.
1 ★this was stupid. the game was very short. but mostly it was dumb. if i click on something it goes into an unstoppable sequence of text that i have to run through every time. there is no way to escape from it. the story didn't make a lot of sense either. i couldn't even quit out of it. there was a christmas game there too, that was even more clumsy to play. at one point i was playing some kind of game with a monster, there were no instructions, i had no idea what i was doing, or how to get out of the game. i had to actually go back to the main screen of my phone and erase it. old ega games, looked like this but there were more navigation friendly, had better jokes, and were overall better.
