En los albores del Jubileo del Año 2000, la administración de la emisora pasa a manos de la Universidad Católica "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción", sumándose a la misión de la institución siendo fieles a la "evangelización de la cultura", en el "compromiso con la realidad de nuestro pueblo", en el "anuncio de Cristo".
Al nombre "Cáritas" se le agrega el de "Universidad Católica", llamándose a partir de entonces "Radio Cáritas-Universidad Católica".
Hoy, a los 80 años de su fundación, encomendamos nuestra tarea al Señor en la fidelidad a su Iglesia, a los Obispos del Paraguay y al Santo Padre Francisco, fieles a Cristo, Ayer, Hoy y Siempre.
