Keep in mind that this app is configured for a demo IPTV portal for testing purposes. If you want to use the app you have to configure the app for your IPTV provider.
The app doesn't support m3u (or any others) playlists.

How to install StbEmu APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download StbEmu APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

5 ★Anyone know why portals don't load on Chromecast with google tv on latest Android update? It works fine on Nvidia shield so I know it's not the app. It's something with the Chromecast.
5 ★Hi this is my fav app by quite some distance,but on the latest update 1.1.8 [11th dec] ,i am having the same problem as Brian Campbell dated 11th dec in that i can not bring the menu up when you press the ok button so i can not say for example be able to change video player,input a new url unless i totally uninstall and redo,,this is via phillips android tv and i still have a problem were on channel changing the volume is pretty loud even though sound has been lowed,but apart from that the app is brilliant,Thanks.
5 ★I have been using StbEmu (Free) for some time and really like it. I use Nvidia Shield. After the update to v1.1.9 the centre remote button brings up the menu. However, I did have a serious problem with the StbEmu menu/preview showing in a low resolution-filling only 25% of my 55 inch display-top left of screen. The full video displayed correctly. The only fix for me was to reinstall the app...All running OK again. I wonder if anybody else experienced this issue after the upgrade?
2 ★Freeze all the time!!! I'm using it on my android phone and TV. Just enough options but it's not well adopted. 2 major problems: It's extremely difficult to navigate with the onscreen buttons and it freezes every 15-20min. Restarting the app solves the problem in next 20min. Fixing the problem with freezing is enough for 4stars.
3 ★TV Configuration : Fire TV Installed latest STB Emu Application. (version 1.1.9) Previously facing so much issues in updating the application from 1.1.6 to 1.1.9. Now I've updated the application. But now after launching application, It is showing msg - Starting portal for 2 seconds. And then blank screen is being displayed. I have been facing this issue since last 8 days.
5 ★Can't change audio and subtitle tracks. Nothing happens when I press those in the menu. (no they are not hard-coded and are avaible on other apps) Edit: Change of mediaplayer makes it possible to change subtitle and audio tracks. Other players of various qulity.

3 ★I am using this application and help to many friends to installed and setup IPTV box. During fast few days it's giving problem with mac id. Can you please fix. I call service provider and they told me that in anroid boxes it's changes mac address automatically and that's creating problem.
4 ★I like this app. It works well. I would only prefer if you could load the whole list at once when you open a channel list instead of loading the channel list by group and you have to page down to see the next 10 to 15 channels in the list.
5 ★This app works great. It takes a bit to get used to the menu but works as expected. One issue I'm having is trying to emulate one of my MAG322 boxes. It doesn't send the "device_id2" field. Is it possible that when "Custom Device ID2 and signature" is selected and "device_id2" is left blank, to send a blank field for "device_id2" as my MAG322 does below. 4 ★It's been the 4th day that the app is installed on my new Chromecast with Google TV. So far it's working well! I've watched direct TV and a TV serie and no issues. I am Canadian but using it in Mexico and I am very happy so far. I will probably cancel my current plan with Bell once back home.
5 ★Echoing what others are saying - anyway to map the keys of the new chromecast? Obviously this remote has fewer buttons than the firestick 4k so it's proving to be a challenge. Otherwise works very well and is very snappy.
