Il est important que très tôt les enfants fassent la différence entre le dessin et les lettres afin de se construire une représentation efficace du système alphabétique.En lui demandant de reconnaître le texte du dessin, cette activité va aider l'enfant à construire cette représentation claire des signes de l’écrit. Plusieurs variables sont proposées afin qu'elle ne repose pas sur de faux critères. La représentation la plus prégnante est : l’écrit en noir et les dessins en couleurs. Dans cette activité, les lettres peuvent être en noir sur fond blanc, mais aussi en couleurs.
Cette activité fait partie de la méthode complète "Entrons dans l'écrit", particulièrement adaptée aux enfants présentant des troubles des apprentissages (dyslexie, dysphasie, dyspraxie).
Elle a été réalisée avec le soutien du Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche.
