Description
Spider Remote is a graphical editor and device management app for use with Line 6 Spider V guitar amplifiers.Connect to a Spider V via a USB OTG cable to browse, download, edit and save your guitar tones.
An active connection to a Spider V amp is not required to browse and edit tones, and can be saved in the user's account.
Attention! Not all Android devices are capable of supporting USB Host mode, which is required for Spider V Remote to control the amplifier. If in doubt, third party utility apps such as “USB Host Diagnostics” can be used in order to determine USB Host mode capabilities.

1 ★Doesn't worked on my galaxy S9. Keeps crashing and causing my phone to restart. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it and checked the USB cable over and over. Now it doesn't work out all. PLEASE FIX THIS APP FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!! Everyone is having the same problem. Fix it before I want my money back!
2 ★I think the idea is really cool and it's almost there, but it keeps crashing on my phone and is making this product very frustrating to deal with. There are slots where you can download songs to so I would suggest if you plan on gigging with it download the songs before hand if you did not already plan to
5 ★READ THIS FOR HELP IF YOU ARE STUCK! It was a little frustrating but after a week of searching the Internet I found the problem make sure that you make sure you have an OTG adapter not just a USB adapter and once the correct OTG adapter is connected I have to restart my Sony Xperia Z5 for it to kick into action so don't give up on it. when I have tested the amps sounds I will get back on the review I hope this helps you guys out because I was having a hard time at first
1 ★Completely incompatible with my device and extremely difficult to use. The PC version of this software does not have access to the tone cloud, making the use of custom tones an 87 step process. Line 6 couldn't have made it more difficult. On the bright side, at least I'm learning.
1 ★The app is useless 😡 it always crashes and can't load tones from the cloud,never get any updates,and the amp itself is rubbish,every tone sounds more or less the same I've got the v60 amp,and the line 6 customer support is the worse I've ever experienced, extremely slow to answer back and the attitude is they don't care about their customers, it's a shame because this amp could of been awesome,I'm never buying a line 6 product ever again, don't waste your money on this company,
3 ★Works great w the amp and makes changing effects and editing them a lot quicker. However as far as downloading or finding tones it doesn't work at all. No matter what you search it will not find it. Puts up an error code each time... you can not update your amp to the newer version w the classic speaker and extra tones either. Cant even download that from there site. For these reasons I've dropped my 5 initial stars to 3 and edited my review.........
1 ★Tried again for a second time. I connect my Samsung S9 to the amp with my otg adapter. I opened the app with the amp turned on and it automatically restarts my phone. Everytime. I tried everything. Uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting the amp, checking connections and switches... you name it.
3 ★I just wish they would update the interface to be a little easier to browse and that it wouldn't crash my phone every time I try to download a tone. If the app was worked on a little more, I'm sure line 6 amps would fly off the shelves.
3 ★Version 2.0.X of the app works on the Pixel 3, connected to the Spyder v30 Mk II. ### SUMMARY - Can create and save custom tones via the app. - Can modify and save existing tones via the app. - Modifying and creating tones on small screen a phone can be tedious. - Cannot download and install shared tones from other users via the app. Would add a star if I could download and install tones from the cloud. Would add a star if the interface weren't so crowded on a phone screen.

5 ★I really like this app a lot! I own a Spider V 60 amp, also the line 6 wireless g10 System. I like to check my presets I uploaded on the Line 6 custom tone section to see if received any stars or downloads. I really enjoy my line 6 products and this app a Greatly! 5 ★UPDATE: the Spider V has had an upgrade to the MKII, best part is existing owners of the 5 get a free firmware upgrade to the new sounds and feature set. Way to go Line 6! An excellent and easy to use, yet very powerful tool to manage and edit Line 6 Spider V amplifiers. Really enjoying the amp and remote application.
