1 ★Free games needing to offer in app purchases is necessary, and isn't a problem under 2 circumstances. 1. They're non-predatory and 2. They don't hurt the gameplay. Major mayhem 2 has both issues. They've f*d little holes in everything that was great. I might have still played too if the levels weren't cut into tiny pieces to drain your 10 plays more quickly. And now the first game isn't even available anymore. THAT is messed up.
4 ★It's an alright game. Very action packed and fun if you have time to kill. The previous version of the game (Major Mayhem) now has a glitchy interface after me playing it for years and this never happening. (I figured I would mention this here because it is more likely to be seen by the creators here on a newer version then on the older version but the glitchy stuff has nothing to do with this game) I like this game and would recommend it to some friends and family.
4 ★I agree with most of the reviews to this game, its really fun, a great time killer, easy controls, not as good as the first, but I disagree about having to spend money. If you do the survivals a lot it, will give you a lot of xp which will give you good cases with good guns to complete the missions. I need more missions!!!
4 ★Pretty good game = ] didnt think i'd enjog it quite so much, but here we are. I very, VERYseldom pay for any mobile game and this one is no exception. Even having beaten all the levels, and aquiring all weapons, the challenges and daily survival mode have me hooked. It could acrue gold (and especially gems) faster, for sure, though clearly i dont mind that much. Thanks, guys. Can't wait for part three(?)!
2 ★Great game for one week. Then you can only begin opening one rewards box at a time for "free". When you are finally able to begin the process, it can take upto 24 hours for it to open, making you unable to earn more during that time. Also, once you reach the top level, you get very few rewards. You will never earn enough coins to upgrade all of the weapons or buy the outfits.
5 ★Fun Shooter with easy enough advancements! I rarely play games on mobile for months at a time! This one is the one I love to return to. The adds and the wait are very well planned and for my taste not obtrusive at all! It provides just enough play time per 10 lives. Awesome! Would love to see an expansion pack with new levels and new story line! I'd buy that as an add on! That would be a better thing than all the chrystals or weapons, just a thought! Google Play integration would be welcome!
3 ★This game is quite fun! I enjoy the cartoonish and over the top style. The only issue I am having is everytime I try to speed up a drop box, it doesn't register. I have to switch screens or click random things just for it to play a video. Also the advertisements in this game have frozen my phone or did not allow me back into the game causing a full close and restart. Please fix.
4 ★Fun to play, fluid controls and great graphics style. The game can be completed absolutely for free and without watching ads. However it gets grindy if you want to get three stars for all missions. It gets extremely grindy if you want to unlock all weapons for free (required to completed all challenges) - however it is possible. Still a great game! One thing I miss: some sort of reasonable permanent purchase I could buy to support the team (e.g. coin doubler in previous game). Not gems.
3 ★The first one of these is brilliant, and possibly the best mobile game I have ever played. This is good, and still has the same great gameplay but is way too short, and progress is imbalanced. I completed after two days, in the process got promoted up 2 of 45 ranks and unlocked maybe half the guns, all of which can be upgraded ten times each, which I didn't get round to doing as the rate coins are given is just far far far too slow, yeah you can replay missions but it's just grind for grind.
5 ★Very nice and fun! No overwhelming ads, which nowadays is an absolute bless, the game is very entertaining, the weapon collection gives it a great play time. The animations are fluid and satisfying, the enemies vary so each stage has a unique blend of at least 3 different types of enemies with their own mechanics, and lastly the controls are crisp and unique, yet still very comfortable. On a couple levels during the run 'n' gun, I played with my pointing finger and my pinky on screen to jump lol
5 ★Awesome and really fun game! The original Major Mayhem was great but this edition feels like a more refined version of the original. Great gameplay and fun levels while introducing new enemies gradually to make gameplay not repetitive and exciting. Ads are optional (to unlock chests, speed up unlocks, etc) and the devs have made a good job not to bombard the game with ads. Overall an excellent game!
4 ★Gameplay wise: Not much has changed aside from a few control tweaks. Enemy variety and difficulty has upped it's game though! One nitpick of mine though would be the upgrades and their prices, they're too expensive and some aren't even worth the upgrade. Speaking of weapons, they clearly added new and better selection of arsenals to win the game and possibly 3 star a level. Good job overall!
