Description
Use joints, bones and muscles to build creatures that are only limited by your imagination. Watch how the combination of a neural network and a genetic algorithm can enable your creatures to "learn" and improve at their given tasks all on their own.IMPORTANT: This is a simulator and not a game! If you are not interested in the concepts of natural selection, genetic algorithms and neural networks and watching them work together then this is probably not the app you're looking for! The tasks include running, jumping and climbing. Can you build the ultimate creature that is good at all of the tasks?
I want to stress again that there are no real objectives. Even if a creature of yours reaches 100% fitness, you don't win anything except for (hopefully) lots of excitement and joy.
IMPORTANT (again): The simulation is pretty CPU heavy so it will crash on most old and/or low-powered devices. If your device does not meet these minimum performance requirements you should NOT download this app!
If you just experience some lag you might be able to improve the fps by lowering the population size in the start menu.

How to install Evolution APK on Android phone or tablet?

4 ★I do like how unique this app is and that you can watch things evolve, but it would be nice to be able to choose where to attach muscles between bones and possibly more than one. I'd also like the option to choose which of the simulations should go to next gen. Sometimes I find other movements more successful even if I didn't anticipate them. Lastly, a cage, or solid structure would also be nice to have. Trying to build a pelvis for two ostrich legs only ends up shattering everywhere.
4 ★The only reason I didn't give five stars is I wish there was a game mode where you can make 2 animals and create natural selection. Great game!
5 ★Game potential = 10+ Game frustration = 8+ Such a cool idea and the fact that it has infinite possibilities makes it just amazing. However, most of the time you have no idea how to get what you want accomplished actually accomplished. There's no way to nudge the evolution development of your creation one way or another and there's no explanation or visuals showing *why/how* your design evolved this way or that. Without that, it'll never go beyond a 'trial and error'/'just messing around' game.
2 ★It is perfect app for kids but when I just played for half hour the buttons were not working please fix this bug.
3 ★They seem to quickly learn that by just holding themselves steady they can naturally slide forwards a little. When that doesn't progress very much, they then unlearn everything and slump back down. After that, just seems to glitch out, and they learn that feaking out will get them the most "movement", despite it being unreasonable. And this continues well past gen 100. I can sometimes see them start to figure it out, but it always results in going down the drain again.
4 ★This is the second time I've installed this app and the squillionth time I've played, including .swf versions predating this app and this install is the first time I've experienced the "muscle spaz" glitch previously referred to. It really does kill the experience. Not sure why it happens on this device and not others. Luck perhaps? Otherwise, great sim
4 ★It is a very good game, IF YOU KNOW HOW TO ACTUALLY DO IT. The controls are extremely simple, THE ARRANGING PIECES CORRECTLY ISNT. Creating a successful creature takes time, patience , knowledge and skill. If you have those 4 traits, you may have found a perfect game for you. But if you dont...you'll probably never be able to play it correctly.
1 ★This game was awesome when we first downloaded but it had now stopped working. When you press evolve it locks up and crashes
4 ★This game is great! Just one problem. The climbing mode is broken, and my animals get stuck in the staircase.
4 ★Cool! Literally no Ads and no paywalls! Very awesome game. Although some maps like: Jungles, Ocean, and an City. It's an pretty straight forward game.
2 ★great concept but needs alot of improvement and or recent updates broke it. like others have said by gen 50 the creatures no matter how complex always start glitching, muscles detach and then from there they start litterally falling to pieces with parts flying all over the screen and presumably they are no longer evolving. itd also be great to see the fitness level scores, to be able to do my own selection, to see a measure of creatures fitness eg distance, hight, speed etc
5 ★I really like the game but I have a few suggestions 1) make it so we can remove glitcy creatures or have the ai not go for glitch creatures 2) make an option that makes it so the ai can evolve parts on to the creature just for fun 3) make a mode where the ai takes creatures online and makes them compete against your creature and the ainner somtimes takes parts from the loser 4) more parts for mobility and being able to choose what that parts job is like deciding that something is supposed to wings flight and gliding or legs for walking or arms for balance 5) multiple creatures at once so you can compare different creatures easier 6) game mode where instead of competing to be the best at something it is a fight with like teeth and claws. Thank you for taking the time to read this but I will tell you a secret suggestions 1,2, and 3 are the other comments ive decided to mention in this list 4 is also another commenters idea but decided to be a little more specific. Only 5 and 6 were ideas that popped in my head i don't think anyone one else commented those and if they did I didn't see them. Great game amd I hope to see these implemented if they are not to complicated. Sorry for taking so long didn't realize until now.
