2 ★Why don't you make it a souls-like game? After death, let Player pick up their stuff, just revive the enemies. Add a dodge roll. Add spells. Add mana and stamina bars. Add equipment load. Add rings. Lessen focus on farm/craft. Add some exploration and level design. Make it replayable (Player can start and finish the game completing the main quest line, with the ability to start an NG+). Add DLCs. Looks like a lot to change... Maybe just create a new souls-like game for mobile, please!
