2 ★Excellent graphics, good game play, but as with all glu games, you need to spend real money to get glu credits for all the best stuff. UPDATE: Does not work on Samsung Galaxy S5 / Android 5.1.1. Just get the message "Unfortunately Blood and Glory (NR) has stopped. "
5 ★Great idea love this style of game on a phone. Sword fighting gladiator, and I'm in the front seat not watching a character fight for me... Sometimes my dodging freezes up, other times the whole game does... Wish I had more time before rating it but its good at this point.
5 ★Great graphics, lots of blood, and smooth game play. You don't need the in app purchases to get some of the best weapons, armor, or potions. Just learn how to parry, dodge, and block and you'll be fine. This is my second go round with this app. I made it to the the 6th tournament (level 30) without ever spending a cent.
4 ★Finally, somebody who took the time to teach you how to play the game and use the app. The game is exciting and I like they also did two version one more for kids (less blood) and one for older players. I HATE the app world, because most of them you have to figure out how to use it or how to play. Keep the good work! :-D
5 ★Despite a single brief moment of lag, I can see myself getting into this game. Given three options of defense (shield, dodge, or parry, listed in order of trickiness to execute) you can choose just how aggressive you wanna be in battle. Certain swipes across the screen combined in the right order results in combos... interested to see just how challenging this game gets. - Knight
3 ★Great game with great graphics and easy to play, but why oh why do you start with -182000 Glu Credits??? Gotta spend a crapload of money to buy any of the good stuff! I will play this for a while longer and then delete and not recommend if this does not get fixed.
5 ★You guys should really update this game.its fun to play especially for the glory of the arena. I think you should add more weapons maybe a dual wield class and spear wielding class. New armors and helmets Shields and much more. It would be very interesting too have new classes than the ordinary gladiator you know? Please update this? I think you should.
4 ★The controls can be a little wonky at times, and the dodge buttons are (purposely?) far from the gladiator, so you must commit to either a parry or a dodge in mid-stroke. Overall, great game. I don't give five stars because the best items must be bought with the freemium currency, and that isn't cool. Otherwise, great job!

Fix the bug's, and extra items for the coins, and new enemies. Surely Solidly satisfying Hardy Thrill Game. Blood Lusting Game! Promise, download it!!!!;!! and you'll know what, Blood Tastes, and, Glory Feels like..........
2 ★Until I ran out of life potion then you have to start spending money on it. Health doesn't regenerate over time so once your out that's it. Was a great game up until then tho. Was 5 star might chi back if update resolves this but it was fun for few hrs.
2 ★Game ia fun and is almost amazing but at least 1/3 of the time when I dodge or block it immediately atacks after. Frequently this causes you to get hit through no fault of your own as you cannot evade while attacking. I was really enjoying this but this bug is too much to make the harder levels possible. Even still it's far from terrible but just as far from great. This is my original review but now downgrading it. Great game. Its a little challenging and definitely requires skill to master.
5 ★If you like Spartacus, you will get a kick out of this game. Be sure to download the NR version for additional blood and gore. This game looks fantastic on my Motorola Xoom. As an aside, this game looks like it took the premise from Gladiator AD, which was kid-ified into Tournament of Legends for Wii.
