Description
Play a MIDI instrument by sending it motion data from your device's sensor - tilt up to ascend, and down to descend.You can choose to play notes from six different scales.
PLEASE READ - THE INSTRUCTIONS
This is how it should work, step by step:
1. On a desktop computer, enter this website ON CHROME ONLY - https://ilyichgames.com/midi
NOTE: Chrome changed their security settings for MIDI permissions, so now you must enter https, ignore the security message and advance to the site, otherwise the site can't get Webmidi access. Sorry about that.
2. Choose the device you want to pass MIDI information to, the device should be connected to the computer, taking MIDI from it (output), and passing it to a MIDI instrument (input).
3. Enter the app on your mobile device.
In the bottom line it should read "Midi sent, follow the instructions above."
4. If this is the case, all you have to do now is tilt your device up and down.
The motion sensor will read the data, pass it to the server (providing you are connected to the internet), the website running on a desktop computer will pull the data, translate it into a MIDI note, and send it to the instrument using the webmidi API.
