Sedamdesetih godina srpčani nisu ni sanjali da će vrteći skalu na radio-prijemniku jednog dana moći čuti glas spikera i najavu“Ovdje Radio-Srbac“.To se ipak desilo prvog ljetnjeg dana,21.juna 1975.godine ,a prvu najavu izgovorila je tadašnji spiker Nada Novković.Čast da otvori Radio-Srbac pripala je tadašnjem odborniku SO-e Srbac Dragi Laziću iz Nožičkog,a posebne zasluge što je opština Srbac dobila radio-stanicu ima tadašnji urednik Radio-Sarajeva,Zlatko Prlenda koji je uspio da kod opštinskih vlasti i velikog broja radio stanica BiH realizuje ideju o potrebi osnivanja Radio-Srpca,tako da se Radio-Srbac može spravom nazvati i radijom solidarnosti.Ključni povod za to bila je katastrofalna poplava u srbačkoj opštini koja je trajala od 5.10. do 14.11.1974.godine kada je nivo Save kod Srpca iznosio 1.026 centimetara iznad normale.Tom prilikom u opštini Srbac voda se ulila u 520 kuća,a 18 ih je srušeno.Tada se shvatilo šta znači nemogućnost dotura informacija do gradjana koji su se našli u nevolji pa je zaključeno da je otvaranje radio-stanice najjeftiniji i najbrži vid komunikacije sa gradjanima na poplavljenom području.Uoči svečanog otvaranja ove opštinske radio-stanice,u Sali Doma kulture Srbac,održana je kulturno-zabavna manifestacija pod nazivom „Veselo veče“ koju je direktno prenosio Radio Sarajevo,Radio-Beograd , Radio-Zagreb i Radio-Srbac.Latest updates
