5 ★Really good game and very fun.
1 ★The game before the recent update was awesome, but now it's just plain garbage. The new update makes it feel like a major huge grind now, pushing people to micro-transactions in order to skip the grind. Before you were able to start a month ago and get super far and have tons of fun, but now you can't do any type of progression at all without waiting well over a month or more!!!
1 ★I'm never one to leave a second review bur after giving the new update time to get adjusted too the new way it's still not as good as before. Buildings now take absolutely ages to give money. If you get a building upgrade that you want to use, you can't just swap like before, you have to go to a new city and start again. Rather than being a time waster, this game has turned into a waste of time...and money! I think you've lost a lot of players who have been with you a while. Or like me, actually spent money for in app purchases. I'll give it another week. And if no real progress I will remove it from my device. It's gone from fun, to boring and infuriatingly slow.
3 ★the game is ok. the best way to describe this app is an incentivized ad watching game. you don't have to, but nearly every action you can take in the game can be sped up, enhanced, doubled, gained, or multiplied by watching an (or several) ads. it seems to really be an idle game, you leave for numerous hours, and when you come back, can reap the profits. You level up your buildings with card levels which you get from free or paid cases. it's a fine game, but not my cuppa tea.
4 ★a great game, there is always something to do, get the things that appear in your city, its really helpful for progression. the ads aren't intrusive in fact my advice would be to watch them, the rewards are worth a 30 second ad. it wouldve got 5 stars but improvements could be made, a stats page for example so you know what each building gives and how long it takes.
5 ★I really enjoy the game. I've been playing it for awhile, but lately I've noticed that the monies accrued during my absence (plus the doubled amount with the viewing of a video, does not get added to my total. WHAT is the point of accumulating money while "idling" if you're NOT going to bother adding it to my total?!? Kinda defeats the "IDLE" aspect of the game, doesn't it?!?
1 ★I didn't think it was possible for a developer to kill their own game in one update, but this last one did just that. The game was great before... I'm not sure what prompted them to make such dramatic useless gameplay mechanic changes, but if I were them I would ctrl+z fast. Won't be playing this game until they bring back some of the core mechanics. Listen to your community, devs. Make idle city empire great again.
1 ★Loved this game until the last update. They basically removed all strategy from the game. There are no longer any decisions to make in the game anymore. You pick your buildings at City start and basically have no other options after that. No power, no building management, no population, no pretty much anything that made this a great game before the update. There is literally no reason to log into the game other than once or twice a day for about 30 seconds to spend money. I have absolutely no idea what they were thinking when they made this update.
4 ★only because you can never tell how profit you need to earn until you unlock the next city plot. This may really annoying as well as frustrating also because the RV icon doesn't move at the end of the meter which relates back to the knowledge of how much money you need to make. Other than those two things, this game is quite relaxing to play in your spare time. Would recommend it. Keep up the good work!
3 ★what is going on with the ads that keep freezing.this is my 2nd favourite game so please fix it.it only happens in this game.ive put up with this for 3 days.fix or i will uninstall. i am up to my neck with it. ok? ( later on: im very unhappy, i lost months of playing. it had a weird ad virus. when i reinstalled the virus seemed 2 b gone. as well as what i had earned.
1 ★I have to agree with other reviewers. The latest upgrade adversely affected the gameplay to the point where it is virtually non existent. You can't swap out buildings or increase production levels in any meaningful way. I will probably delete it now and ihavebeen playing this every day for a few months. It was by far the best in the series of idle games but alas no more.☹
3 ★This game is great way to waste time. Your progress starts over every time you expand to a new city and if you really want to waste your money on a pointless game then this is perfect. At first I thought it was cute and the graphics are ok, but I ended up watching tons of ads for coins that dont get you anywhere but back where you started. I uninstalled it.
