4 ★My boys are big fans of coloring apps and coloring in general. So we were very excited when we received the Meet Lulu Paper-to-Digital Coloring Pack. They loved being able to color in the coloring book. Once I downloaded the Painting Lulu app on our tablet that’s when their excitement really grew. It was great to see their faces light up in awe when they realized that what they started in the coloring book could be finished on the app. And the stylus that came with it is a big plus. There are a few things that bothered my 8 & 10 yr old. For example they have not been able to print any of their artwork. We click on the “print icon” and it does say that it’s “loading…” but it just never loads. Also it would be great if they were able to save their artwork. The app brings 3 books, however 2 of the 3 are locked. This was disappointing to my boys. There is also a music icon at the top on the screen, but even when clicked there is no sound on the app. Aside from these minor issues my boys are having so much fun!
5 ★We have this for our tablet and love it! Though it took my daughter a little bit to get used to it, I think she prefers this to regular coloring books now. *I received a copy of this app through Tomoson. I was not required to leave a positive review.
5 ★This app actually has an activity set that goes along with it. In the activity set you get a coloring book and a crayon stylus, and then you download the app for free. We absolutely love the activity set and think its a great addition to this fun app! The Painting Lulu app is by far the best coloring app I have found and it keeps my two year entertained for hours. She loves how easy it is for her to figure out and she loves how many options and coloring pages she has to choose from!
5 ★This is a great app and a great idea. We got the coloring book which came with a fake crayon, which we found was a stylus! Each page of the coloring book had a QR code. So while one child is coloring in the book the other can color on the tablet or phone. This is great for when we have an unexpected long wait and all I have on me is my phone.
4 ★First, let me say my son loves this coloring book, the app, and his own special "crayon" stylus. I really wish this would've worked better on my Android tablet (Galaxy Note 2) though. It worked great on the iPad though. That's the unfortunate thing about software. With so many operating systems, it is touch to ensure 100% compliance on every make, model, and OS. So, on the iPad -- I was very happy. My son enjoyed coloring, sending drawings to daddy (send via email option), and it was an overall good experience. But on the Galaxy Note 2 -- I was disappointed. The app didn't go full screen, so my son kept accidentally hitting the "home" button when drawing. The app froze when we tried to flip through the pages to select which one to color, and we weren't really able to send pictures via email. The physical coloring book was enjoyable. My son liked coloring in it with crayons and markers. We also had fun using the interactive feature that imports your physical coloring book page directly into the app. My son loved his "crayon" stylus. It has a soft plastic feel, and the tip is hollow plastic. We had a few issues with the tip getting inverted -- I'm not sure if it was just depress
