Folder Player is FREE (NO Ads, NO in-app purchases!), minimalistic but powerful alternative music player which uses folders to play music or audiobooks.
Play directories the same way you play individual audio tracks.

Folder Player is a freeware which knows how to play whole directories. It can browse and play individual files, folders, or full folder trees.

Why another music player for Android?

There are many great mp3 players out there. If you're happy with them, you probably don't need another one. But chances are, you have the same problem as I had before I created this app - you tried many players, and your mp3 tag-based access to your music still too cumbersome, because your world defined - yes - by folders.

1 ★this app use to rock. now it sucks! Down loaded app to my new phone and put in Sd card amd damn app wont play but a third of my music! Specifically wont play wma tracks. What gives!?

5 ★Developer seems a bit shy (or 'lazy' haha, just kidding) listing all features it has so this one almost slipped under my radar while searching for a folder based player with some specific additional features (they are listed on the linked homepage but seriously who goes to homepages while browsing through Play store? :)) *folder bookmarks, *remember where you stopped listening within a bookmark, *tags ('playlists'), *includes files in sub folders (I know not all so called 'folder players' do that), *auto play next folder (pro feature), *sleep timer, *very clean design (subjective of course), etc. Good job, I think I've finally found my player of choice (plan to buy pro version soon).

1 ★Cannot play from folder to folder. When the last file in the folder is played the player either starts repeating the files in time same folder or stops - depends on the repeat settings. PLEASE MAKE IT PLAY CONTINOUSLY AND SEAMLESSLY FILE AFTER FILE AND FOLDER AFTER FOLER. Otherwise it is a very good application.

5 ★Niceu! Niceu! Werry niceu!! Edit: People who are rating low saying they cannot find their music- just organise your music in a folder or different folders, according to your preference. This app does what it says efficiently.
