5 ★On top of being able to play music over the cloud, this app has a plethora of great features. The ability to rate songs on a scale of 1 to 5 stars is really cool.
4 ★For me it works and delivers what I was expecting: play music from the cloud. The app does that effectively and consistently. As an MP3 player alone, there are many features missing - it is very simple (but not that simple). But if devs listen to our feedback, I am certain they will improve this app. I am happy with it thus far !
5 ★Just started using CloudPlayer after trying everything I could, including Apple Play, which doesn't actually do most of what it said. All the others did less and would not use Dropbox Music Files. This one does. The organization of albums and artists is good. It went out and got all my music from Dropbox and it let me select folders on my phone. I haven't used it much yet, but I think I love it. Have used it quite a bit. Continue to love it!
2 ★This app has done a poor job of integrating the music I have stored on my Dropbox account. I have a pretty large music library and there are precious few phones with enough internal storage to leave it on the device. So I thought this would be a great solution. But the app has stalled out maybe 10% of the way through cataloging my collection. And it just won't continue. So it's been fairly worthless. I'm really disappointed in this because I thought this might be an elegant solution.
1 ★I would love to give this five stars. I have paid for it and it works superbly well. I can listen to my CD collection on headphones or Chromecast Audio, but... ...on the CD's that I have ripped to my W10 laptop and into the Music folder, when I find them on my FairPhone 3 the first track is missing from many and lots of track from some CDs. How can you possibly enjoy Beethoven's Archduke Trio with the first movement missing? Please sort out this problem for me. I have tried the fixes for missing tracks in the help pages of the doubleTwist web site but to no avail.
1 ★This is a great player, but don't change your password for your cloud storage. I had to on my OneDrive and this player gave me no option other than to delete the current account and re-login. This loses all playlists and rearranges songs. I was sorted by date added, but lost that arrangement. Now I have to sort back through 1000 songs to remake my playlist and my old order for non-playlisted songs is gone forever. Why couldn't I just change my password in the old account instance and keep things
5 ★Excellent app for Android Auto. No issues experienced. Was looking for replacement for Google music, and I believe this is the one.
4 ★It's a really good app, easy to use and pretty overall. I'd give it 5 stars if it had this 2 additional functionalities: multiple artists in Metadata, and being able to sync with the cloud incrementally. I am continuously adding new folders of music to my cloud, and when the app syncs it, it takes forever. Besides that, it's perfect!
5 ★For 5 years this app has provided seamless access to my music through a clean interface that still makes me feel like I'm using a jukebox; complete with album art!. No gimmicks. No added fees. No attempts to take my music. Thank you for a great product. V/r, Chris C.
3 ★I would buy and use this app if it let you pick only a single folder to scan for music. The system of "banning" folders is not flexible enough. I want to include only a single folder and exclude all others. This could be integrated at the account-setup level, or in a different options menu, assuming it's too complicated to add to the regular user interface. In addition, I was disappointed to see that the gapless playback doesn't work with Chromecast. Playback through Chromecast leaves HUGE gaps between songs--bigger gaps than most other players in my experience. So trying to play gapless albums via Chromecast is quite disrupted.
1 ★Had high hopes for this app. Though it just lets me down. Chromecast support is iffy at best. Continually crashes. UI not overly friendly. Trying to play an album my folder search results in playing last track only. Most albums the first track is unplayable for some reason. If a couple minor issues get fixed, this app would be tops.
4 ★This is so unbelievable player. Absolutely adorable. Excellent sound, great options, easy to use, activates immediately I enter my car, scrobbles to Last.fm (with external scrobbler). Absolutely I recommend this app. The best app to stream from Dropbox. The only problem is that the widget is unstretchable. NOTE: The widget is not yet stretchable. Fix it, because this is a 5-star app. NOTE2: For few months now, in a car when connects to bluetooth, it started to stop after one minute play.
