4 ★I like that it is kid friendly and the tablet and case has held up for my daughter for the 2 years she has owned it. It’s a little difficult for me to download big apps like Netflix and YouTube aside from that no complaints. No screen breaks due to the case that came with it. I will be renewing my subscription another year.
5 ★I love that Samsung Kids has the option to have different profiles for each child. This way, the games are age appropriate and interesting to each child and their devices don't have to store each other's games. Also, I love that the app has lots of different parental controls to limit time, and make sure they stay in the app! Sarah Mowinski
1 ★I am very unhappy with samsung at this moment. On March 23 I signed up for a free trial. I was immediately charged 39.99 for a years subscription. Upon opening the app I soon realized that you have to download every game individually. My tablet has only 16 g and with all the preloaded apps that came with it I didn't have room for more than a few games. I sent an email to samsung requesting my money back and still, two days later, have not heard from them. Very disappointed.
4 ★Samsung Kids+ is great. My 4 year old daughter plays with it daily. Design/layout makes it easily navigable. Parental controls helps with setting guidelines for use, A plethora of educational choices. And, last but not least, yearly subscription is reasonable for the educational/entertainment value that it is. If there is one complaint, it's the Wifi doesn't reconnect automatically after having been powered off. .Settings are enabled for tablet to reconnect, but usually, I have to exit out of Samsung Kids+ app and reconnect it manually on parent side. More a hassle than anything else, as otherwise, tablet is awesome.
3 ★Pros: Lots of content 👍🏻 Can have 3 profiles under 1 subscription - great for those with 2-3 children. Locks kids out of all other content on tablet. Cons: It would be nice if time limit increments were 15 or 30 min. up to 2 hours. Also, it doesn't seem to matter what age I enter for the profile, I get the same content -- not cool for little kids that access the same stuff as older kids. I can't remove content that I deem inappropriate or get my kids to play different subject areas.
4 ★For the most part I really do like this app. It is relatively easy for everyone to use and my toddler (4) loves having her own games to play as she is not allowed on mommy or daddy's phones. The upgrade did throw us off quite a bit, but have gotten mostly used to it now. Options are nice, but for a toddler I feel like there are too many and she won't stay on one. It would be nice if we could lock a set number of games and not allow any other's to be available.
4 ★It is a great app for younger kids. They are educational games and books to read I love it , my niece enjoys alot on it but unfortunately my son doesn't enjoy much, he find it boring some of the games. He's older now and I guess that's what boys are they can't play something educational for a long time. Anyways it's nice for the little ones.
4 ★***UPDATE*** There are still instances where the app will freeze but it has happened less since the update of the app. Giving the new update 3 stars for now. The new update looks great and my 4 year old was excited that he got an upgrade as he called it. I have noticed that the games freeze up quite often and even when we close a game out. The glitches need to be fixed! I hate having to keep restarting my sons tablet just to unfreeze his favorite games. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SYSTEM.
2 ★This app has promise, but it is very frustrating to my child when there is no internet connection and at least half the games don't work. Its to the point where he won't open it unless we are home, so if we are in the car, away from the house, etc. its useless. If the app were to sort the games that are available for use off line we would give it a higher rating. The other thing is that it sucks in a credit card number that cannot be deleted once its in and you will renew unless you cancel a day or two before the renewal date it appears. This is not linked into my samsung account either for some reason. Not user friendly for adults or kids.
3 ★Not bad but once your child hits around 6 years old it is not really worth it. I liked the use of the pin to go into full use of the tablet. The stories were cute but not a huge variety. Maybe if they make a version for kids a little older then will keep kids longer so they are engaged in the activities longer.
2 ★Good for little ones (3yr - 5yr), where you may want to give them some basic fun game to play while they are in the car or waiting room, or other selected content. But I found with my older kids (7yrs - 10yrs), the app just took away capabilities of the device that I wanted to begin to let my kids have access too - and learn how to manage....
5 ★It was AMAZING! I really like all of the apps and Joseph my little baby brother ALWAYS helps me with it. Also he really likes the app but we need to buy it on two more electronics.
