A Rádio Floripa foi criada em 2007 como resultado da vontade pessoal de seu criador, tudo começou dentro de uma universidade, alguns amigos resolveram eles mesmo criarem a sua própria radio online, todos estudantes da área de Marketing e Publicidade, desde lá então a rádio vem crescendo cada vez mais.O que se iniciou como um hobby, em muito pouco tempo deu lugar a uma emissora planejada, estruturada e pronta para atender aos anseios de uma gama de ouvintes mais exigentes por "qualidade e bom gosto musical".
Com o avanço tecnológico e a proliferação da internet por todo o mundo, ficou mais viável criar uma Web Rádio (transmissão pela internet) com custos muito menores que uma emissora convencional (transmissão por ondas de rádio) que exige um grande investimento em equipamentos, antenas, torres.
Foi desta forma que a rádio Floripa vem trazendo muita musica boa e de qualidade desde 2007, seu fundador já reconheceu que hoje somos a primeira rádio online da região.
