"The Boys' Toy." A simple tilt game, but with a difference. It is designed to commemorate the lives of 39 Roma children who were the subject of a social experiment at the St. Josefspflege Children’s Home, Mulfingen, Germany. In 1944, after the experiment, the children were sent to Auschwitz, where all but 4 were murdered.The app:
• Gives the history plus links to further sources
• Has instructions for how to play the game, with its 13 levels of difficulty.
• Has the game itself, modelled on a game played by the children.
• Teaches the history (by answering questions, you score bonus points, Obstacle Removal Points that allow you to remove obstacles).
