هو الشيخ سعد بن سعيد بن سعد الغامدي، من مواليد مدينة الدمام بالمنطقة الشرقية من المملكة العربية السعودية.أتم الشيخ رعاه الله حفظ كتاب الله عام 1415ه. حصل على إجازة الإسناد برواية حفص عن عاصم في العام 1417ه، وقد أجازه الشيخ أحمد أبوضيف حفظه الله ورعاه.
