Realverso è un ambiente digitale nella forma di metaverso, vocato alla sensibilizzazione sugli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile dell’agenda Onu 2030 unitamente ad una promozione innovativa del territorio italiano a partire della Basilicata e dalla Sicilia. In tale ambiente è possibile effettuare l’interazione sincrona fra avatar (attraverso voce e reactions) e fra avatar e oggetti, sfruttando l’interazione reale-virtuale grazie all’internet of things implementato nei digital twin, ossia punti di interesse del territorio (es. luci del castello, fontana) opportunamente interconnessi tramite sensori e attuatori con il relativo modello virtuale nel metaverso.Inoltre, le azioni “etiche” effettuate all’interno del Realverso generano “conio etico” per personalizzare aree o il proprio avatar o per interagire con digital twin. Il Realverso è un prodotto intergenerazionale dal design semplice ed empatico, che mira ad incrementare il livello di attrattività dei borghi e a renderli eterni conservandone la memoria storica e culturale grazie alla ricostruzione 3D realistica, a promuovere i prodotti locali tramite botteghe digitali, a far rivivere la storia dei borghi “fantasma”.
Il progetto nella forma di concept è stato selezionato dal CNR e presentato alla Borsa Mediterranea del Turismo Archeologico di Paestum a fine ottobre 2022. Il progetto si è aggiudicato il premio Top of the Pid 2023 nella categoria Turismo alla Maker Faire di Roma, la fiera dell’innovazione. Il progetto ha ricevuto inoltre una menzione speciale al premio Agenda Digitale 2023, organizzato da Osservatori Digital Innovation della School of Management del Politecnico di Milano ed il terzo premio al Top of the PID Mirabilia 2023.
Aderiscono al progetto l'Ente Pro Loco Italiane, l’Ente Pro Loco Basilicata, l'associazione Mirabilia Network (rete delle camere di commercio UNESCO d’Italia), i comuni di Barile, Brindisi Montagna, Campomaggiore, Chiaromonte, Craco, Pisticci, Potenza, Satriano di Lucania, Stigliano e Lipari.
