Description

Simmons Drums 2 brings Android control to Simmons electronic drum kits. The app provides a wider display of drum module settings to help you select kits, choose new sounds and effects, change the mix, adjust trigger settings and more. The play-along tool plays music from your library or YouTube, slowing down or looping sections so you can learn new beats. Additional learning tools include a metronome and control over the Titan-series Practice tool.

Compatible with Simmons Titan 70, Titan 50, Titan 20, SD200, SD300, SD350, SD500, SD550, SD600, SD1200, SD1250, and SD2000 drum modules.

1 ★Doesn't even work at all. I'd give 0 stars if possible. It connects through Bluetooth but will not play through the amp at all. Useless and worthless until some change is made.

1 ★Don't bother with this app, you will only find frustration and disappointment in return. Frankly I don't understand why they even bothered making this app for Android. Extremely limited usability, most of the features you think you are getting with this app are either completely broken or extremely hard to use. Worse of all, nobody is listening at this company.

2 ★App is unusable on mobile. None of the dials are usable for changing any of the levels even with changing the resolution on my screen. The app will not install on a Chromebook and my iPad is too old. Also when trying to make changes via the app, there's a lengthy delay between the module and the app if it even syncs at all. The app could use several updates.

1 ★Needs a BIG UI overhaul. The app is fine, at first. Helps get your kit going the way it needs to. You can use it to adjust the sound output of each pad which is very helpful. The kick sounds are way to low, the toms have deeper sounds. When you go to adjust parameters it's awful. The UI uses a turn nob like on an amp. The feature might as well not even be included because it doesn't work. So much is missing that is standard everywhere else. Would give a 0 but can't.

1 ★Useless and buggy. Tiny buttons make switching between options impossible. Try to Edit any pad, and auto pad selection jumps ALL OVER the kit when you tap one pad.

1 ★This app crashes constantly whenever I connect to my drum kit. It does not work at all.

2 ★Very little overall app functionality. If you're patient, you can change the drum sounds. Simmons website recommends updating module firmware for this to be compatible. All that did was wipe my custom kits, not cool.

1 ★Play along doesn't work and that's pretty much all it could've been good for.

1 ★Despite being connected to the drumset and having a play along feature, the feature doesn't actually have the drumset put the music through the speakers connected to the set. So I ask: what is the point of this feature, if it's a worse mp3 player than the one that comes with my phone? And yes, as the other reviews have said, the YouTube player doesn't work. What is the point of this app?

3 ★App is OK at best. play along tracks only play on my samsung 23 ultra phone and not in the module. All the dial adjustments are weird. The idea behind the app is awesome, but the crashes, dials, and playalong are messed up. I would venture to guess the Apple app works well.
