Fundada el 1º de enero de 1950 en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, la Legión de la Buena Voluntad es una Organización de la Sociedad Civil (OSC) ecuménica, sin fines de lucro, que trabaja a favor del desarrollo integral del Ser Humano, por medio de acciones centradas en la educación y la inclusión social de los sectores más vulnerables.
En la actualidad presente en siete países: LBV de Argentina, LBV de Brasil, LBV de Bolivia, LBV de Estados Unidos, LBV de Paraguay, LBV de Portugal y LBV de Uruguay. En cada uno de estos países, llevamos adelante numerosos programas y proyectos, atendiendo las necesidades locales. Para ello contamos con Centros Comunitarios, Escuelas, Hogares de Ancianos, entre otros espacios.
Cada país donde la LBV tiene presencia genera sus propias fuentes de recursos y los aplica en el ámbito nacional.
