Silverio Reyes, periodista y locutor oriundo de Las Matas de Farfán, República Dominicana. Llegó a la capital, Santo Domingo en 1980, trabajó y pasó mucho trabajo en esa gran urbe, llegando a dormir muchas noches a la intemperie o amanecer trabajando de gratis en una panadería con tal de encontrar donde pasar la noche. Mientras trabajaba en una panadería, oficio que aprendió, precisamente para poder hacer las tareas en sus tiempos como estudiante de primaria e intermedia, decidió estudiar locución (1984). Se llegaba a la panadería más temprano para poder salir más temprano e ir al curso. Uno de sus profesores trabajaba en una discoteca y le llevó para que le ayude y luego a un programa de noticias que este tenía en la radio. Luego de culminar sus estudios de comunicación social en una universidad de ese país, las circunstancias le llevan a salir del país hasta llegar a vivir a los Estados Unidos, (Boston), al encontrarse con el Maratónico, visita una de las emisoras de esta ciudad y por ahí sigue hasta crear un programa que había iniciado en Carolina del Norte, luego en Tampa, Florida y por 13 anos ininterrumpido en la ciudad de Boston, “ El Súper Parrandón Navideño” a través de diferentes estaciones de radio tradicional, combinado desde hace seis años con la página elparrandon.com, el cual cambia a mundial93fm.com el año pasado.
