1 ★The delays are huge, drop off times changing constantly. The reviews on here and from friends are what I should have listened to about late cancelations. I gave an hour and a half and now the wait time keeps getting longer. I hope I get my food? Plus all these deliver apps are being railroaded by restaurants using covid to raise delivery prices even though they're open so you have to order early in the morning and pray you get lunch.
3 ★its a great app and service, I wish it did a better job searching restaurants that are in the area. it sometimes won't allow you to order from restaurants from certain areas not in your current location. case in point, I like to workout, and eat after, the gym is 30 minutes away, there are different restaurants there than what the app allows me to see
2 ★The app keeps raising my hopes when I pick a restaurant saying it's "open" one second and the "closed" the very next. The prices plus delivery fees are so outrageously high yet they don't offer a variety of food items like other food delivery apps do. If you live in a small town, good luck finding a restaurant that's "open" and relatively cheap, you'll need all the luck in the world.
1 ★Awful customer service and they take a whopping 33% commission from the restaurant. Support your local restaurant and save frustration by buying directly! My customer support experience was time consuming, exhausting, and after all that they've still overcharged me $15. I had a one time $15 credit in my account from an organization I volunteered for, it showed in checkout but I was charged the full price anyway. Almost 30 frustrating minutes on the phone with support and they never fixed it
4 ★Though the delivery fees/taxes are a little high, this app and organization have been very good to our family. Once in a while their delivery driver miss the house and even once they delivered our food to the neighbors, but they have always corrected their mistakes or refunded us for little things like a missing drink or making sure the order didn't have an unwanted item. I would have rated a 5 star review, but those little things have added up to 1 less star. Thanks for your customer service!!!
1 ★FYI: Do not order from this app. They don't give a damn if you get your order or not. They can't even get in contact their drivers either. So you would be wasting your precious time trying to get some food through this app. You might as well go to the restaurant yourself. Due to me having surgery on my right knee recently, I was unable to go to the restaurant. So I took a chance with this app. Never! Ever! Ever! Again will I use this app. It's totally useful. Period!
5 ★Your experience with this app seems like it boils down to where you live. If you live in an area with more people than your more likely to have a positive experience due to enough drivers. My area has enough delivery drivers that I've had a pretty good experience as long as I don't order past 11. Very few places here are open past then and it seems there are little to no drivers out that late. I've only had to cancel 2 orders one was user error, and the other was because I ordered too late.
1 ★Not the happiest. Got this instead of door dash because they're delivery was so long. Lately all my orders from grub hub are missing food and you only get a portion of your money back and have to order again to get food and pay double fees. I'll be going back to door dash. Might take longer to get food but at least it's what I ordered. Ordered a second time to get food and they messed it up again. About the fifth time in two weeks.
1 ★Seriously don't even waist your time with this garbage. I've given way too many chances and have been highly disappointed with my results, mainly the fact that they change delivery times at least twice every order. Or even better! My food never leaves the restaurant I have to go get it myself. At least customer service is top notch.
1 ★Horrible selections delivery misses something 70% of orders. Why do we pay and tip for a service that only includes a "Limited Menu"??? Compared to what's offered on their website and or for pick up on your own? It really sucks that allot of restaurants have to use them you take the joy out if trying something new but then stuck with 3 out of the 8 burgers they really have available. Also sucks that the delivery drivers can't always confirm if everything is in the sealed delivey bags.
2 ★When I open the app, I want to see "pick up" options by default, and I want it sorted by "distance." It's really annoying to have to change it every single time. I know you're trying to shove "delivery" down our throats, but I literally live a block away from most of the restaurants I order from.
1 ★This app is a bigger demon than doordash! 1)There is no map to see where the driver is and that's frustrating. 2) I can't log in on pc. 3) Prices are outrageous and 4) drivers like to steal my food quite often. This is the third time they refunded me and I have to go to sleep starving. Good job GrubHub.
