1 ★Purchased the ad free version to decrease the marketing ads for $20 just to be marketed "micro transactions" that are all very expensive. Do not think the ad free version adds much to your experience! I'm sure it's not a bad company, but ugh, do not give money to someone that doesn't understand when to stop taking
1 ★The game used to be fun, but every update makes it harder and harder for people who don't want to spend hundreds of $ every month. They limited the max level of heroes to 50 and you can get more only by paying $15 for each hero. The event for shards never came. The amount of ads is just ridiculous. I bought "no ads pack" for $21, still there ads every time you enter the game AND after every battle. They're just in game ads asking for 100$ for a set of t4 gear or monthly passes ($15+15 per month)
5 ★I've only been playing this game for a day and so far I'm hooked! I'm not a big game person but this game is addictive. The overall goal of the game is to fight and hold your ground for each wave as you level up, collect and increase in equipment, power, weapons, speed, etc. Fight off a big boss here or there and keep fighting and stay alive as you level up in the game. And that's just so far after a day. I don't see it getting to much more complex then that.
3 ★Pretty easy game, feel like you're making progress without spending money, though you can if you want to. Dec 2023 Update. Apps have gone from watching 1 to watching 2 after 45 days. I'm logged in to play the game. I have no issue wasting up to 30 seconds but requiring a minute between each level of an activity or sometimes more. Yeah this game is now 3 stars. Any more idiotic changes and I'll update it to 1 and remove the app.
2 ★The changes to the hero leveling system suck. The portal is just a cash grab and decreases the ability to have much choice in who you play/level. A big draw for me was being able to focus on the heros that i enjoyed playing. And now it seems like a cash grab.
3 ★The game is mostly okay. Gear is available and you won't have much trouble getting to red tier. Talents do cost more gold each level, but scales linearly. New characters require a lot of gems. Late game sucks as they just throw 10 nigh unkillable elites that just jump at you and shake the screen nonstop.
1 ★too hard to get other characters it's either $$$ or way too much time.. games are supposed to be fun and kinda challenging. ya know? not stressful and ur entire bank account. I am still financially wounded from COVID as well as emotionally. I lost a lot and life is and never will be the same. so maybe think about the people recovering. we just want to be stress free when we escape to video game land.
2 ★I like this game. But I'm sick and tired of the game crashing EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch a video, it crashes takes my gems or tickets...loses my progress and i have to wait AGAIN!! It's so darn frustrating to the point I want to stop playing and uninstall this game. I have stable Internet and my phone is powerful enough to play the game but Jesus please set up some kind of auto save feature that keeps my progress in case of a crash...so many other mobile games like this have that feature!
2 ★Game absolutely sets you up to fail. We'll randomly stopped allowing you to control your character and will make you move directly toward enemies. Will frequently get you stuck behind things that aren't there and will end your turn only for it to repeat in the next round. Zero reason to spend a penny on this game when there are far better options out there. Support also doesn't care about the problems
3 ★It's a decent game, a reliable survivor type game. The problem is the ads and the monetization. The prices for things are way off, giving the impression of a cash grab. $22 to remove ads, $11 for hero pass, can finish an adventure without paying for tickets, or can't upgrade items without some level of overpriced investment. If the costs were more realistic, I would consider it, but to get everything out of the game, it would probably cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Pay to win.
2 ★Normally I would rate this much higher. My problem is that the game has become almost impossible to play as a Free to Play. I have been playing this for a year and have fairly high levels for the Heroes I have. There have been no less than 7 sections added after I've passed an area and players don't get the extra rewards unless you actually beat the level. Half of the Heroes are through special sections that you have to spend real money and some levels are easier to pass with specific Heroes.
2 ★This game is a shameless cash grab. I will preface this review that I paid roughly $75 on this game, and I have little to show for it. I paid for the ad-free version, a complete epic armor set, a few random boosts, and the Fire Mage hero. I received a several boost, but the returns diminished very quickly. The game it's constantly trying to get you to buy more armor packages, heroes, boost. I wouldn't mind that If the game had more variety. But it doesn't. The game becomes redundant very quickly
