Listen to member-supported Minnesota Public Radio anywhere you go with the MPR Radio app. With this app you can stream the live broadcasts from MPR News, Classical MPR, and The Current and additional streams such as Radio Heartland, Local Current, Rock the Cradle and Choral Stream.

The MPR radio app connects with Android Wear and Android Auto compatible vehicles allowing you to select, play and pause streams. Other features include high-quality stream audio, alarm, sleep timer, geo-located weather along with Airplay and Chromecast integrations.

1 ★This app has many many interruptions for ads that do not occur on air. These interruptions cut in on content that is in progress and this results in loss of information that is sometimes critical to complete understanding of the subject matter.

3 ★Downgrading this from 5 to 3 stars until they stop randomly interrupting the stream with advertisements. I get ad money supports programming, but there has to be a way that doesn't destroy user exerperience. This app offers many channels including MPR News,the Current, Cassical MPR and the Chorale Stream.

2 ★ads ads ads ads ads, constant ads all the time, good news though, when its not getting interrupted every 5 minutes, or 5 ads in a row, in the middle of stories, please put them after them like a rational human so people can actually hear the news

1 ★Was working fine on an older phone. New phone with 5g makes it unusable. Anytime the app senses a connection change it plays an ad. Fire some reason this is happening every minute or so running off of cell. Hopefully it gets fixed.

2 ★Like many of the reviews here I keep having ads breaking into the music or news programming at random times. If I can't stream it dependably I may have to reconsider my decades long membership. Please fix the android app asap!

2 ★wish it worked... used to run fine before the last couple weeks. constantly stops playing out of nowhere. reinstall only works for a couple of days before issues come back.

3 ★The interface is excellent for live streaming the broadcast. However, I have frequent drops of the stream. It usually comes back quickly but it is quite disruptive.

1 ★App used to have the playlist now it doesn't. Plays the radio but doesn't have any information about what program is on or what the playlist is. I opened up classical MPR in a browser window and I guess that will have to do.

2 ★This app streams fine on an old old iphone 4s, but cuts out often and eventually stops on android phones (galaxy s7 and lg g7). Love the programming, wish I could listen reliably on my active cell phone.

2 ★I love MPR. I really do. But this app is CONSTANTLY resetting and telling me who's sponsoring MPR. It's not just annoying, it's kind of pathetic. Please MPR! Make this work!

3 ★I really like this app but I liked it better before you removed the alarm clock functionality. I used that all the time during the middle of the night when I'd wake up and couldn't get back to sleep.
